The upper floor of the apartment is a converted attic, where a total of up to 6 people can sleep. A mattress lying on the floor (1.40 m wide) and 4 single beds in an open space! (Access to the mattress is narrow and deep!!) Since the apartment is located 2 floors above a restaurant, it may be that music occasionally enters the apartment. This is usually only on weekends.

Ideal starting point for destinations in northeastern Bavaria, southeastern Thuringia and impressions at the former German border. We also welcome guests in transit, hikers and cyclists. By car, the university is 10 minutes away, the city center is 15 minutes away and the Festspielhaus is 20 minutes away. We have equipped the apartment the way we like it when we travel. The house is right next to the small Margrave's Palace Schreez.

There are 2 separate apartments in the Engelschanze, but they can also be booked as a single unit for 8–10 people. All guests can use the large garden. It extends into the adjacent forest, where there is also a hammock for general use. Each apartment has its own separate terrace with a view.
