My family and I spent a long weekend at Olivier’s place. He’s been a great host and we had a wonderful time staying at this wonderful property! I would highly recommend this place to anyone who likes outdoor activities, fishing, hunting, hiking or exploring the true beauty of BC!

This is a very specially place! Our group of 6 spent a wonderful night in this stunning home. The home was spotlessly clean with comfortable sleeping arrangements for all of us. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything we needed to cook a family style dinner with lots of space for all of us to pitch in. We enjoyed our morning coffee looking at the beautiful view and making plans to return next year for our annual girl’s trip.

Maria is an excellent host! We had a couple issues but she addressed the one immediately (unfunctioning lock) and I'm sure she'll fix the other pronto too- the listing implies more beds than exist. There's one in the bedroom, one in the loft and a foldout futon. All are comfortable. The space is very clean. The views are very nice. The cabin is very nicely outfitted with appropriate but unique furniture. The kitchen is well outfitted too. The space was very private and the deck a nice place to gather. Highly recommend both the host and any of her properties!

Allan and Diana were excellent hosts and the grounds and views were beautiful. I did not want to leave. :)

Upon arrival to the cabin my spouse and I were absolutely amazed by how beautiful the area was. The cabin is absolutely adorable. The hosts did a wonderful job with absolutely everything. We did end up meeting them and they are very wonderful people. As soon as we got into the driveway, we were greeted with smiles and cookies! They then gave us a tour of the cabin and explained how everything worked. they also gave us a recommendation of a local hot spring that was breathtaking. They also left flowers on the balcony table for my spouses birthday, which was really kind and appreciated. We will definitely be visiting again!

We really enjoyed our stay. The hosts were friendly and checked in with us to make sure we were comfortable and that we had what we needed. I appreciated the clear directions for how to get there, and all the written information in the binder left for guests on a table was helpful. Our two dogs liked having space to stretch out and there was lots of green area to sniff. One thing to note — there is a campground down the hill from the cabin (out of sight unless you look over the cliff) and the noise does travel up. However, if the windows are closed then it is fine, and it really wasn’t too bad at all even with the windows open. It was just unexpected so I thought I’d mention it.

Everything was amazing , the cabin , the place and the attention. Anita and Wes are great! They left some fresh eggs and sourdough for us and it was delicious! Wife said is that she would have liked it even more if the windows had curtains but I guess is just a matter of preference because for me it was perfect like that. We enjoyed our morning coffee in the deck with 2 deers visiting us , and felt really connected with the nature!

Lovely place to stay in beautiful surroundings. The house was extremely comfortable and homely with lots of space to unwind. Well equipped with everything available for a holiday stay. The swimming across the way was an added bonus. Kaslo was only 5 minutes away in the car or 20 minutes on a bike. Would gladly stay again

The location was very remote as described by Terra. It was what we were looking for our stay. The pictures were accurate. Views were nice. Terra was responsive. Only issue was the Oven was broken (she did tell us but not until after we booked) with being remote we needed to cook at place. We would have booked anyway so all good. Worth the visit!!

Amazing log cabin and friendly hosts! A peaceful and beautiful getaway spot with great access to nearby beaches and a good home base to explore the rest of the West Kootenays. Unexpected bonus - No Shoes radio!! Enjoy!!

Absolutely loved our stay! The location is truly amazing, offering stunning views and easy access to local attractions. The property itself is beautiful, with tasteful decor and a welcoming atmosphere. We were impressed by how immaculately clean everything was - it's clear the hosts take great pride in maintaining the space. Communication was excellent throughout our stay; the host was responsive, helpful, and made sure we had everything we needed. Alistair is an excellent host - so easy to communicate with and polite. The place was amazing - clean and spotless, tastefully decorated & modern, perfect location between Trails & Rossland, private, gorgeous views… the list goes on! We loved being able to hike from the house and access so many great trails easily. Definitely would stay here again!

Beautiful setting, cozy cabin, excellent host.

Amazing. Such a great place to stay. The whole of the Kootenays at your doorstep. Then there was the silence, the incredible view, the ravens swooping by in the morning, the lake stretching out for miles, the private beach, the stars and night filling up the sky, it was all just wonderful. Inga and Karl were beyond generous, and the space was lovely and comfortable and clean and relaxing. Just great.
