The large garden surrounded by plants is complete with a covered wooden deck and sauna (free), BBQ can be enjoyed regardless of the weather, and there is also a Nintendo Switch, a fully automatic mahjong table, and an electronic piano. There are also 4 bicycles (free) to enjoy walking around the island. The large garden of about 70 ㎡ is surrounded by many plants such as Acanthopanax senticosus, and you can enjoy BBQ. BBQ grill (gas) is available for free. (Please bring your own household gas cylinder for use.) Please clean and tidy up after use. You can also enjoy the electric sauna for free. The sauna can be set up to 110 degrees, so you can sweat a lot. Right next to the sauna is a water bath and shower (hot and cold water). In the spring, you can feel the sound of birds visiting in the spring, and in the summer, you can sleep in the pleasant river breeze.In autumn, take a walk by the river while watching the autumn foliage, and in winter, it's a memorable story around the fireplace. Enjoy an extraordinary space that you can't taste in the city, such as the rivers and nature of the four seasons. This inn is packed with a veranda on the second floor with a view of cypress baths, tree houses, sunken bridges, outdoor dining spaces with roofs, sup, sea kayak rentals, and art work surfaces. We recommend 6 guests for a relaxing stay.(Futons for up to 10 people will be provided, but it will be narrow) We have a water server as tap water is not drinkable in the landscape water. It has a large garden and terrace where you can BBQ or relax in hammocks and umbrellas. The owner, who knows the area well, will provide activities such as playing in the river, canoeing, hunting, and secret river play spots, so you can have a slightly different stay. Whether you're with your family, fishing, traveling alone, or staying overnight, we can accommodate a wide range of requests. If you want to enter the hot spring, we recommend "Cloud" which is a 3-minute drive, and we also provide discount coupons for bathing. Ricefields, Rivers and Mountains

This house is a beautiful blend of traditional and modern making it convenient but also authentically Japanese. Mountains and ricefields are beside you, the Shimanto River can be heard. The ground floor is all yours. It's spacious with a large tatami sleeping room that can become two. The A/C is only in one room if the doors are closed. There is no central heating. Restaurants are within 10min or you can prepare local foods in your own equipped kitchen. It’s designed for long and short stays.

Beautiful Traditional House - はなれ

Embrace the “slow life.” The space is a renovated private bungalow next to our main house. Surrounded by trees and quiet, it's an oasis to unwind, unplug, have lazy breakfasts and nap in the hammock. For more active travelers, it's a good base to explore the area. We are 9 km from Shimanto City restaurants and shopping and an easy drive to activities on Shimanto River or the beach. We do require a 2-night minimum but highly encourage you to slow down and stay longer.
