On the outskirts of the Schaalsee Biosphere Reserve, within a radius of about 30 km, you will find Lübeck, Wismar, Schwerin, the Baltic Sea beach, Ratzeburg and much more. Hamburg is 100 km away. In Rehna (about four kilometres away), there are several discount shops for groceries, a hardware store and a pharmacy.

BehrenSCHLAF vacation home Stay in the thatched farmhouse and discover nature and the countryside well rested. Built around 1780 as a smoking house, the farmhouse is protected under historic preservation and has been lovingly maintained. You will stay in our cozy apartment with a terrace to the south side and views of our garden.
