Smoking-friendly holiday rentals in Ko Pha-ngan District

Quite literally the best view I’ve ever witnessed from an air bnb. If you are visiting Koh Tao I would strongly suggest you pick Phin’s listing!! Taxi is organised to pick you up from the pier to the apartment, super responsive host and very clean. When I’m coming back to Koh Tao I’m 100% staying here again and I have already sent this listing to a friend in Thailand to visit themselves. If this listing is free during your trip, it’s a no brainer to stay here

The place was very nicely decorated and the view was incredible. Due to the heavy rain before our stay, the way to the accommodation was broken. However, this was still repaired within a few hours during our stay. The location is also very good. You have everything you need nearby and the beach is in front of the door. Olga is a very helpful and nice host. Communication went smoothly.

A beautiful apartment to stay in, we were there for 6 nights and it was perfect. So quiet only can hear the animals outside but a very short moped drive to the beach/main area. Also the 2 balconies were brilliant for a bit of breakfast outside.

I don’t even know how to begin this, because writing about Denny’s place feels more like writing about a feeling than a location. It’s not just a study spot—it’s a whole mood. A space that holds you when you’re trying to hold yourself together. I came in needing focus and space, but what I found was presence. Stillness. A kind of safety that’s hard to explain but so easy to feel the moment you walk in. The way Denny has curated the energy here… it’s not loud, not performative. It’s like someone quietly saying, “I got you. Do what you need to do. I’ll hold the space.” That kind of care is rare. I’ve had moments here that were deeply productive, but also moments where I just paused and took a breath I didn’t realize I needed. That’s how honest this space is. So thank you, Denny. For being exactly who you are. And for creating something that feels like an extension of that—real, grounded, quietly powerful.

Nice place in a quiet spot just 5 minute walk from Koh Mah beach and best snorkel spot on Koh Phangan. The place was super clean. Nice and mondern with nice view. Kitchen is great for long stays. Well equipped with nice size fridge, utensils and industrial blender for ice smoothies. The stove is gas and didn't start so the host advised us to go purchase some matches or lighter. They had 2 rolls of TP for the first 5 days and we were advised we could purchase more at the grocery store. So for those things you may want to bring your own. AC works great, remember that you pay extra for your electricity. Wifi was ok at 20mb-ish. So sometimes video calls and tv would be affected if you work remotely. We could not get the microwave to heat even though it's 'on' so we just didn't use it. You will definitely need a scooter/taxi to get around unless you're just going to the beach. Can rent close by. Limited food options near unless you're eating at one of the resorts. Host is very nice!

I absolutely loved my stay, such a genuine and kind hosts, both of the girls have my heart and if I’m ever in Phangan again I know where to go. The place was just like the photos, very clean, I can see how they made sure it feels good, cozy and I love when people put effort to make a nice experience for others. I loved the service and how greatly I was welcomed. I recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay. Thank you for having me and hope to see you again in future <3

A heavenly home tucked up in the tropical mountains. This was my second time staying at this beautiful AirBnB, and it is a villa I will only continue returning back to experience the perfect stay for a summer vacation. My husband and I received such wonderful attentiveness and excellent hospitality from both Patrice and his on site manager Koko. They made us feel so welcome and at home from the moment of our arrival. We loved every moment of our entire stay, with the highlight being relaxing in and by the pool.

The villa was really nice, private, and had a beautiful pool that we enjoyed throughout our stay. Check-in went super smoothly, and we loved coming home each day to a freshly made bed—thanks to the daily cleaning service. The host was very easy to communicate with and always helpful. Even after check-out, we were able to keep the motorbike for the rest of our trip, which was a big plus. One night we had a flat tire, and Aphatch & Cory came out to swap the bike for us—such great service! Really appreciated the hospitality and all the help. Thanks again, guys!

I had a wonderful stay at this house — it’s absolutely amazing in terms of design, cleanliness, and comfort. The check-in process was smooth and easy. Every room is spacious and fully equipped, making it feel like a real home. I especially loved that the kitchen is in a separate room, which is quite rare and a big plus. The kitchen itself is fully stocked with everything you might need. The Wi-Fi works well, the balcony is enjoyable, and the area is peaceful and quiet. The location is perfect — close to everything. It’s only about 5–7 minutes by scooter to the most popular spots, and there’s a 7-Eleven and some great restaurants (both local and vegan) within walking distance. Gülperi is an excellent host — very responsive and always willing to help with anything you need. This is truly a perfect house where you can feel at home and fully enjoy your stay. I would love to come back!

Best place ive ever been

The helpful nature of the housekeeper helped us in many things. She offered us breakfast and brought us to every desired place. Also, the house with the view was very nice. Only on the way to the accommodation something should be done. Even taxi drivers don't want to go up because he has huge potholes and stones.

Jimmy and chaa was a great host the place was a dream to stay at very clean Jimmy tells you all the great recommendations around he's very responsive with any questions you may have it was a pleasure to stay at his rental

I really enjoyed my stay. Far enough away from everything that it’s very peaceful at night. If you rent a bike this place is absolutely ideal. Plenty of parking. The room was great. Very quick response time with any inquiries. Also they had a clean arranged for me within 24 hours as requested. Will definitely stay again

The Apartment was in a great location. You could walk to the beach, the convenience store, and various restaurants. We had been staying in many hotels on this trip, and getting an apartment was a GREAT decision. The place had an oversized couch, a comfy bed, and a washer machine, but most of all, there was LOTS of room to spread out as opposed to a cramped hotel room for the same price. It had easy parking for our rented motorbike, which was a plus. We will definitely stay here next year as well.

This place was so beautiful and had everything we needed. The host was amazing at replying to messages and greeted us when we arrived. We had a moped so it was super easy to get to lovely beaches and restaurants which there were many of. I’d definitely stay here again for the price and quality😄

I really enjoyed my stay at DB Studios. The place was exactly as described and the pictures. It was peaceful and I enjoyed hearing the birds outside my balcony. My room was facing the entrance with a balcony which also had a view of the pool and guest lounge area. The location was in a good spot in Lamai. I was able to walk to almost everything. I'd definitely stay here again. Thank you. :)
