Lovely place to stay at & the location was great to explore Knysna.

Knysna is such a lovely place, with Thesen’s Island being my favourite area. Location is great, and is extremely safe as it is a gated community. The house is beautifully kept, spacious, and extremely well equipped with everything you could possibly need. The furniture, décor and general quality of the house is great (especially the lovely main bed!). Faith is such a lovely lady - full of energy and charm. She is incredibly helpful, responsive, and is such a delight. She makes you feel right at home from the moment you arrive, and gives an amazing tour of the house (and some great recommendations of places to go on the island, as well as in the surrounding areas). It was such an amazing stay, would 100% recommend, and would definitely book again!

Great stay. Clean, well equipped property that matched its description. Hosts responsive and helpful. Easy walk to the Waterfront. Thank you also for making a kayak available to us. Good fun.

Just the most lovely welcoming spot. The guard “Recent” settled us nicely and my husband and I really enjoyed our stay in this leisurely spot on leisure island.

Rustic bliss! This is our second stay. Picturesque beauty surrounds. The home is simple old school and well appointed. It is a quiet and lovely area great walks to be found near by. Good quality beds and linen. Hope to stay again!

The view from the house is absolutely stunning, and the location is brilliant. Morné responded very quickly whenever needed and was super friendly. Overall we really enjoyed our stay.

We stayed for four nights here in December and had a lovely time. The place was easy to find and in a lovely and peaceful area. We had visited Knysna before so knew the layout of the place and picked this location for it's proximity to a few nice restaurants and the lagoon. The house was perfect for what we needed - lovely and spacious. The pool was great for our little boy to play in and we were able to BBQ on the deck. Great views and the host was very responsive and available locally if we needed him. Would stay again

Amazing stay at Corlia's place. The photos don't do it justice. Corlia was great with communication and letting us know exactly what we needed to do ahead of time. She'd also gone the extra mile leaving us some coffee and delicious biscuits at the house. We were only 2 adults and a baby and the house was perfect but it would also be great for a larger family getaway. Highly recommend! Thank you Corlia.

We stayed in one of Tine’s luxury glamping caravans as the room on AirBnB got double booked. Tine solved the matter very professionally and upon arrival she was very friendly and helpful. Thanks for our short but beautiful stay!

The location of this apartment is perfect with beautiful views and the wind free north facing balcony is a bonus. The jacuzzi was clean and ready to be used when we arrived which was a thoughtful gesture. It’s the perfect location for a family of 4 as the apartment is spacious and everything you need is within walking distance. The apartment is well equipped if you decide to dine in or have a braai. We definitely look forward to returning to this awesome gem, thanks Douglas for making our stay so comfortable.

Perfect location right over the waterfront with easy access to all the shops and restaurants. Clean home with everything we needed.

Communication with the host was very easy and the check in procedure was explained in detail prior to our arrival along with numerous other relevant bits of information and suggestions for local amenities. The property was clean and as described and as per the photographs which we appreciated. Great location near to the centre of Knysna but a short and cheap taxi ride is suggested in the evening so we had no issues getting around. I would gladly recommend Carla's place and would stay again on a return trip.

We had a marvelous holiday in a beautifully, peacefully setting. Noreen and Simon made us feel welcome, and were lucky to see the newborn faul "cracker" borned on Christmas.

The place is big enough to stay in and especially to stay comfortable with a baby. It is a quiet area with a beautiful view over the Knysna lagoon. It is a great place to stay if you want to explore the Garden route, because it is central and easy accessible. We really found the host friendly and helpful.

Lovely charming apartment. Lots of care has been given to the place to make it chic but comfortable. Peaceful surroundings and a stunning host that offered recommendations for the area and surrounds. Would definitely stay when we find ourselves in Wilderness again.

Jean's house is the absolute perfect place for a family holiday. Lots of space, adjacent to a lovely, clean lagoon for fishing, swimming and canoeing; a lovely lawn for the kids to play on, a massive stoep (verandah) to spend the days and early evenings enjoying a braai and admiring the spectacular view of the hill on the other side of the lagoon, in the coolness of shade. The granny cottage in the backyard is the perfect go-to place for grandparents or parents to escape to. The location is perfect, on a cul-de-sac, near enough to restaurants and shops alike. To top it all, Jean is the perfect host and communicated accurately, honestly and immediately. Our large family of nine returned home, relaxed, happy and well rested. We absolutely dream of repeating our fabulous holiday in the exact same house, soon.

It was the perfect relaxing holiday setting in beautiful nature surroundings. We absolutely will visit this holiday home again. Craig and Theoline are friendly and helpfull hosts. I will recommend their place to anyone.

Nico went out of his way to make sure we had a comfortable stay. We had a wonderful time and will surely go back there whenever we're in Knysna :)

Corne’s place was just what we were looking for. A break away in nature without being too isolated if you wanted to have a bite at a restaurant. Their property has all you could need for your stay including an indoor and outdoor fireplace for whichever way you wish to spend your night. There were lovely thoughtful touches added like chocolates and rusks as well as a fresh bottled water and sparking apple drink that show the extra mile of care and comfort taken. Corné was also very responsive to all our messages and requests bringing us extra wood and her son even coming to help us start the fire in just a few seconds of reaching out. Overall a beautiful peaceful place to stay with warm, welcoming and genuine people. Sincerely recommend and will stay again if the opportunity allows

Staying in this tiny house was like stepping into a fairytale! The space is beautifully designed, cozy, and full of charming details that made our stay unforgettable. Sheena is the best host you could ask for—warm, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect. Can’t wait to return to this magical little getaway!
