An absolute gem of a spot, over looking the sea on a quiet private road. Absolutely perfect for our family of 4. Everything provided including beach toys for the kids and board and card games. There is also so much to do in the area even when the weather was not perfect and we thoroughly enjoyed our evenings in the hot tub stargazing. Thanks so much!

Teachers cottage way exceeded my expectations! Private, peaceful and beautifully surrounded by nature. Well decorated and has everything you need. Candy and Ritchie were both wonderful hosts, friendly, very responsive and always willing to help. Loved my stay at Old School Farm!

I can't wait to return. The serene farm stay was perfect for a family break from the city's hustle and bustle. There was a sprawling lawn for the kids to enjoy themselves, and the crate of bats/balls, etc., was put to good use. It is eye-opening to see what the city kids are missing. The hike to the river was amazing, and not once did the kids have a chance to even think of saying they were tired, as nature kept them guessing around every corner. Linda was amazing from the initial communication post-booking until after checkout. Genuine farm hospitality!

Great cottage in a great location. We visited in winter and the wood burning oven warms up the entire house. Great bedrooms, comfy and clean. The kitchen has everything you need to be self sufficient. The deck looks out over a fantastic magic garden. The garden has all sorts of hidden corners that must be explored. We picked our dinner veggies, grape fruits, oranges and lemons - there is loads more. If we could give this place 6 out of 5 we would have. Loved it

What a magical place! Linda is the most accommodating and tentative host we’ve ever had!! It is the perfect place for a family and truly an amazing spot for complete R&R. From the walks around the farm, swimming in the rockpools, the jungle gym, feeding the calves and the recommendation to see the 800+year old tree! What an amazing experience! Wish we had stayed much longer than 2 nights! We will definitely be back for a longer visit!

Linda was amazing- going out of her way to help us with additional nights after we ran into some issues. the units were lovely and the staff so helpful and friendly - moving our luggage to different units due to the additional nights. thank you!!

This place is truly a hidden gem! The breathtaking views of the ocean and surrounding landscape made it feel like a perfect blend of forest and seaside tranquility. The home was fully equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Every moment felt like stepping into a masterpiece of nature’s beauty — truly a reflection of God’s artwork. The steps leading to this hidden gem were truly rewarding. Karen was one of the best hosts I’ve ever had the pleasure of dealing with, making me feel like part of her family from the start. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a refreshing escape from daily life, even if you already live near the ocean — this is an entirely unique experience.

We loved staying at Sue’s place! Was a beautiful secluded spot that made us feel like we weren’t in the hustle and bustle of season but still not a very far drive from beach, hikes, restaurants, etc. My senior dog was able to stay and had a little fenced garden for when we had to leave her at the bnb which she loved! Great spot for a family or a few friends :) Sue was also very responsive and gave clear instructions so everything went smoothly! We will definitely want to make this a regular spot we stay ✨ highly recommended x

We enjoyed our stay so much! It was so peaceful and so manageable with two little kids. We woke up to the orioles singing and enjoyed looking for the tortoises every day in the garden. We look forward to staying again!

A very special space, meant for those who enjoy a farm style holiday but with all possible comforts, and more. honestly, I have stayed at many a farm cottages with my kids, but never have I found one like at Nix’ with carefully chosen plates, cups, pottery, and even an air fryer and yoga mats! The kids enjoyed the treehouse and toys. We could not make time to canoe in the river (right at your doorstep) but that will be for the next trip! The only downside was the sound of cars rushing past on the highway. Wish there was a speed limit on those cars.. look forward to being at this farm again

We enjoyed the peace and lovely surrounds. Our dog enjoyed the farm dogs. Easy drive to the beautiful Keurboomstrand beach and then into plett for supplies. Vincent was most efficient, helpful and cheerful. Thanks Adri for your generosity.

Gary and Lynne were incredible hosts—kind, attentive, and always mindful of our needs. We had a wonderful time, and our kids absolutely loved the pool, which is beautifully surrounded by nature. The accommodation was spacious, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Gary also provided us with a detailed itinerary, which was incredibly helpful for exploring Knysna. I recently had the pleasure of staying at Kobus’s Airbnb cabin, and I must say, it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The cabin was immaculate—everything was spotless and incredibly well-organized, making it feel both welcoming and comfortable. It was clear that great care was taken to ensure cleanliness, with every corner of the space thoughtfully maintained. The cabin was also stocked with everything we needed for a stress-free stay. From kitchen essentials like pots, pans, and utensils to thoughtful touches like extra towels, toiletries, and cozy blankets, Kobus truly thought of everything. It was the kind of place where you could easily settle in and feel right at home. I highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a peaceful and well-equipped getaway. The attention to detail and cleanliness made all the difference, and I wouldn’t hesitate to book again!

Beautiful location, cute cottage. Convenient/short drive to restaurants, walkable path into town. WiFi was a bit inconsistent during the afternoons, but otherwise solid. Would stay again.
