A sweet humble traditional village house, extremely clean and in a fantastic location. All the basics you may need. A beautiful beach literally through the dunes at the bottom of the garden. Thank you for a lovely short stay.

Very comfortable cottage. Spotlessly clean. Plenty of parking on the street outside. We loved having the beach just a couple of minutes away. It was a good location for visiting the sights of the Antrim coast, and a scenic drive along the coast to Belfast. Thanks Carolyn

Honestly, this is one of the best places I’ve ever stayed. The location is unbeatable set just back from the beach with stunning views of lush green hills, and only a short walk from a lovely pub and a local shop. Joanne has truly gone above and beyond to make guests feel at home. When we arrived, there were thoughtful touches like fresh milk, butter, and croissants waiting for us. Even more impressively, she’d included extras like a picnic basket and backpack things that show real care and attention to detail. I noticed one really unfair review here, and I have to say it couldn’t be more off the mark. I’m not sure what kind of “newness” someone expects from a charming Irish cottage. Everything looked great, worked well, and was full of charm. You can really feel the thought and heart Joanne has put into this place.

Just got back from our overnight stay at the trout and herring - loved it. A beautiful small space that never felt cramped and was amazingly fitted out with everything we needed - the bed was very comfy and the bathroom was lovely, the shower was amazing, like standing under soft warm rain. Everything was spotlessly clean. Handy to pubs, shops and restaurants. There was a spacious decking area outside with amazing views of the beautiful Red Bay - came home totally chilled -Paul was the perfect host, quick to respond to our queries thanks Paul - we will defo be back 😊
