Whether you want to cook in the fully equipped kitchen, relax in the cozy living area, or simply enjoy the tranquility, you’re sure to feel right at home here! Attention, construction noise: Currently, on 08/26, we are having our gable insulated!!!

Creative vacation

The cultural house, built in the 1950s, is idyllically located in the middle of Steinfurth, on the Ochsenkoppel. Ten years ago, we fell in love with the house, bought it and renovated it. This resulted in 2 vacation apartments for guests. The hall of the cultural center is used as a studio. The house also lives as a cultural site. In addition to a regular painting and drawing course, there are exhibitions, concerts, readings, workshops and festivals.

The apartment is located in a converted barn from 1896, not far from the Baltic Sea beach and Greifswald Bodden. The train station for the direct route to the island of Usedom, Greifswald or Stralsund is only a 10-minute walk away. You can also get to the desired locations quickly by car. In the studio apartment there is a 140 cm wide box spring bed as well as a comfortable sofa bed. The small garden invites you to barbecue and offers relaxation.

From here you can go hiking, boating, paddling or cycling in the wild nature of the Peeneurstrom Valley and the Viking settlement "Altes Lager Menzlin." The Baltic Sea island of Usedom and the beach are 30 km away. Anklam and Greifswald are the nearest cities and are worth a visit.

A cozy, thatched, listed timber-framed cottage in a 6,000 sqm park-like garden with pond. The garden is secluded behind a wall. The Graue Kate belongs to a complex with listed cottages. It is the largest of the three houses to rent. Dogs are welcome. Rowing on the pond, picking ripe fruit from the trees, fishing and the caught fish right on the garden grill: pure enjoyment, in peace and quiet!
