Amazing mountain experience in Ottsjö in Åre

In this fantastic little mountain village Ottsjö, our newly built house is in a high position overlooking the mountain world in Åre. The house is 76 sqm with panoramic windows and beautiful material choices. In this house, you will feel like you are outdoors even when you are sitting inside by the stove with a cup of tea. Just behind the house, there are several prepared cross-country trails, snowmobile trails, hiking trails and proximity to fine fishing. A perfect house for friends and families with children who also want to bring their dog.

Carefully renovated timber cottage from the 1850s, with views and ski trails among lakes, forests and meadows, 50 km northwest of the city of Östersund in Jämtland. 10 km to petrol station, kiosk, recycling station, pizzeria/Thai restaurant in Tulleråsen. 15 km to grocery store, health centre, hairdresser, dentist, car workshop in Änge. 20 km to a ski slope for children in Almåsa and 40 km to a larger ski slope in Åkersjön with a popular mountain hotel. Starting outside the cottage, there is a sledding hill and ski trails of varying lengths.

In the middle of beautiful Jämtland you will find this cozy cottage in a beautiful landscape. This cottage of about 50 sqm has what you can wish for and need for a time vacation or relaxation. Light a fire in the lovely fireplace and set up a fun game. The surroundings offer skis both downhill and length, hiking and snowmobile opportunities. Only 5 km away you will find Almåsa and Änge cross-country tracks. Several different hiking trails with wonderful views as well as bird towers are nearby.

On 85m2 you'll find panoramic windows with a fantastic view on the lake, a soap stone fireplace, two bedrooms and a bathroom. Enjoy fishing, paddling, swimming, hiking and x-country skiing right in front of your doorstep! Our neighbouring little farm with our kids, three sled dogs, three cats, a garden and chickens can induce a farm holiday experience.
