Situated in one of Austria's most picturesque areas 80km from Salzburg for the most enjoyable Skiing and hiking in the Alps Enjoy your privacy in this apartment. Beautiful walks and hikes right outside the front door. Depends, if somebody comes from far away we like to have a chat and tell them about this beautiful area what walks to take where to shop or rent skis otherwise we respect your privacy. The apartments are adjacent to the castle so you can be completely private if you like Most convenient is to have a rental car with you even though the trains to Salzburg and Vienna are just a short walk away. We even have a beautiful sports airfield close by where you can rent a small plane or book a scenic flight or another destination.

The vacation home "Strickerl" is located in one of the most beautiful hiking areas in the world, in the Salzkammergut. We are located at an altitude of approx. 880 meters, which makes our guests immediately feel the alpine feeling. With us you have the opportunity to enjoy relaxation & the Austrian idyll. Cozy little apartment on the 3rd floor in Tauplitz. Central but quiet, 200 m to the trail entrance, 200 m to the nearest restaurant, 900 m to the chairlift. Shuttle service to the chairlift stops right near the house. Ideal for 2 people or a family with a child- The sleeping chair can be converted into an extra bed (80 cm wide). In winter you can enjoy the proximity to the ski resort, in summer fantastic hikes, lakes and numerous excursion destinations in the Salzkammergut.

The small newly built complex, in which most other apartments are rented through an agency, is located a few minutes walk from the valley station of the cable car to the skiing and hiking area Tauplitzalm. Our beautiful apartment has been tastefully and modernly furnished by ourselves with a lot of love.

Our vacation home is just a little off the beaten path (road, train) and yet in the middle of nature at the foot of the mighty Grimming. It is only about 30 km to Schladming or Ausseerland. There are countless opportunities for sports enthusiasts, nature lovers or even those who want to relax! Looking forward to seeing you soon !
