The hosts both Caroline and Alexander are very friendly and responsive. Communication was perfect and the check in was very easy. The pictures don’t do the place the justice. It’s so much more beautiful than on the pictures. It’s a wonderful place and very peaceful. The house itself is so well equipped. You can definitely tell that the owners spends a lot time and money to renovate it. The house was super clean. The sauna was a hit, also our children enjoyed it very much. We spend a lot of time playing in the garden and enjoyed a local bier garden. I recommend this house to anyone who values privacy and peaceful space, where you can easily relax surrounded by the forest and enjoy waking up in a exceptionally comfortable and beautifully decorated house. Will definitely come back.

Beautiful accommodation for many people, especially suitable for family celebrations! We have rarely stayed in such a well-appointed AirBnB. There were all kinds of play opportunities for the children, both indoors and outdoors. The fantastic large garden invites you to linger in the summer or to relax in the evening. It really felt like home. There are pizzerias and ice cream parlours nearby, and also a lot to explore. We will definitely be back!

Claudia was an amazing host. We felt very much at home in the rustic Lohrhäusle. The amenities were excellent, we didn't lack anything. Even coffee, spices, pasta and oil/vinegar were available. The location in the middle of Lohr's old town was perfect for us. Booking and communication with Claudia was easy and timely. Thank you very much.

More of a family house (on the 1st & 2nd floor) than an apartment, really great private. Roller shutters allow you to sleep in the dark. An old building, but nicely renovated inside! We felt very comfortable.

Such a beautiful cabin in picturesque surroundings! We felt right at home. There is everything you need for a quiet break. Heckmühle is a very cute village with great people. We will be happy to come back.

A Home Away from Home – 10 Stars If We Could! Our stay at Mrs. Heidi and Mr. Herbert’s home in Nuremberg this January was beyond exceptional. As first-time exhibitors at the trade fair, we were new to the city, but their warmth, kindness, and incredible hospitality made all the difference. The home itself was impeccably maintained, and to our surprise, the kitchen was fully stocked —making us feel even more at home. they personally ensured that our entire floor was cleaned daily with the utmost care. Such dedication and generosity are truly rare! Me and my two sons are deeply touched by their thoughtfulness and the genuine care they extended to us. Their home exudes warmth, comfort, an experience we will cherish forever. We cannot thank them enough for support. If we could, we would give them 10 stars! Our 5-day stay in this apartment was absolutely wonderful! The decor was not only beautiful, but also very tasteful and immediately gave us a feeling of home. Particularly noteworthy is the sauna, which turned our stay into a relaxing oasis. The apartment was always clean, which shows how much value the landlady places on cleanliness and comfort. We were greeted with loving care that we so rarely experience. The landlady herself was incredibly warm and always took care of our well-being. The location of the apartment in a quiet and relaxing area perfectly rounded off our vacation. Here you could really switch off and relax. We highly recommend this stay and would come back any time. All good. Rooms are all individually lockable, so be careful not to lock yourself out at night (code was directly above the lock, so not bad). And you should be aware that the pool and garden are of course also used by the residents. Nevertheless, it was very nice that you were allowed to use it as a guest.

This is really great place to stay - you would not say so seeing the property from outside - but it is really superb. In the middle of historical part of city, restaurants literally few steps, but as well like 50m from river bank with long promenade / cycling path and what surprised me - really close to town center, but still super quiet at night. Inside, the house is very modern and loads of equipment - we enjoyed the pool, wellness area, multiple outdoor sitting spaces and great living room with kitchen. Heiko is very welcomming and was a great host.... when I will have the possibility, I will book again for sure.

My three kids and I had a great time staying at the place! The apartment is spacious, the kitchen great and the pool absolutely unbeatable! And the family very nice and helpful hosts. The children were able to "let off steam " , and despite my children's enormous volume, no one complained 🙃 And a big thank you to the neighbor, where we were allowed to get a few tomatoes from the greenhouse. Absolutely recommended !!

Great stay! Most of all, we enjoyed the great location right on the river with the many water birds. You could even see cranes. And the sauna was great - especially because it rained every now and then. You'll love looking out of the cosy, warm sauna window! The furnishings are also perfect! Unfortunately, we did not have matches for the existing candle. A clear recommendation from us !

We had a great time in Claudia's beautiful apartment! The location by the lake is wonderfully idyllic and the apartment is very modern and tastefully furnished. Everything we needed was there. Claudia always responded to messages in a friendly and quick manner. We can fully recommend Claudia and her apartment and would love to come back!

We had a super nice stay in a spacious and well-equipped apartment. The hike from the house to the vineyards and to the Main, with surprising and warm encounters, made us very happy and rounded off the holiday. Good location in a romantic village. Apartment has everything you need. The kitchen is small but very well equipped. Bed is comfortable, 2 toilets, great terrace and it is a 3-minute walk to the free parking directly on the Main. We have rarely experienced such a clean apartment.

In the midst of the most beautiful landscape and a beautiful garden with akelei, poppies and peonies, Cäcilia warmly welcomed us to her house and yard. The rooms are tastefully designed, with love for the material and the character of the house. With selected individual pieces, Cäcilia has created a generous, relaxed atmosphere in which we felt completely comfortable. The bathroom has a beautiful natural stone floor and handmade ceramic tiles, everything works perfectly. The spacious kitchen has everything you need, and the directly adjacent terrace with a cosy wooden bench invites you to enjoy your morning coffee amidst the flowers. This place also seems to be a bird paradise. The small hamlet is quietly located in a depression and invites you to cycle on very good bike paths and to excursions into the enchanting Tauber Valley. Cäcilia responded quickly to our spontaneous request, the contact was really nice and we can recommend this friendly, warm hostess and the refuge

We were guests at Herbert and his family's place over the Pentecost weekend (we had contact with Franzi :)) and felt very welcome from the beginning. Everyone was extremely hospitable, which made our stay particularly pleasant. The accommodation was nice, tidy, very bright and friendly – you can tell that a lot of attention to detail is paid here. We would like to emphasise the cleanliness – everything was really very clean and well maintained. The area is ideal for nature lovers. There are many beautiful paths for walks, which we have used extensively with our dog. He was also warmly welcomed, which was a big plus for us. We were completely satisfied and can definitely recommend the accommodation!
