Beachfront holiday rental in Kittilä

If you love nature and want to really switch off, the cabin is an absolute insider tip! Due to a small snowshoe hike to the cabin in winter is included and really beautiful. The snowshoes and sledges were all ready for us at the parking lot, and we could easily follow the path of the snowmobile to the cabin. The cabin is very cozy, a central fireplace heats up quickly. We spent cozy evenings by the fireplace and in the candlelight. And then our stay was crowned with the stunning northern lights. All in all a lovely stay and wonderful to leave all the stress behind.

The house was nice , warm and cozy. Feel like home. The location was great. Just 3 mins to supermarket and 3 mins to Sweden. The view was breathtaking. Amazing

We felt very comfortable. The house is comfortably and cozily furnished. The fantastically located and equipped sauna house is shared with the owners, which is absolutely no problem. The whole property is well maintained and is beautifully located on a large lake. The view over the lake with northern lights is unforgettable. Exceptionally friendly landlords who go the extra mile. Jukka gave us very good tips for the area. We will be happy to come back.

very good, tranquil stay

We absolutely loved it! The cabin is totally homely and invites you to cozy games afternoons in front of the flickering oven. The kitchen is well equipped, even basic food such as flour, tea, various Spices, pasta, rice, etc. were available. Not unimportant if the nearest supermarket is 70km away. The lake is less than a five minute walk away, a perfect spot to look at the aurora lights. Unobstructed view in all directions, as far as the clouds allow ;-) No noteworthy light pollution in the area, a dream. Tero recommended various activities on request, so we met Janne, the reindeer in Unari. This was truly a special experience to stand among hundreds of reindeer who have been fuming around the food like wild. We felt like we were in an animal documentary;-) So if you like it secluded, this is the place to be:-D

The cottage is well located if you want to be alone. 8km from the nearest road. It's right by a lake. The communication with Johanna is great and very friendly. The place was clean. Easy to reach by car.

Johanna's place was fantastic. We stayed with 2 children under 10 and an easy 20 to 30 min walk to Santa's Village. The home was clean and warm and had everything we needed. Both rooms were spacious and the living area was beautifully presented and perfect for breakfast together before a day out in the snow. Johanna was helpful with check in time to suit our flight arrival. A great base for a lovely family holiday. Thank you again, Johanna

Very cozy and nice accommodation.

We enjoyed our stay very much! The cabin has all what you need for a comfortable life and the outdoor sauna was our favorite. We had some exciting activities with Mauri and loads of fun with him in the nature on cold winter days. We will be back next season :)

Beautiful view of nature with the flowing river right next to the cabin. Clean and no nonsense cabin with a wonderful sauna. Great place for nature lovers for some peace and quiet. There is another cabin right next door, but other than that, nothing but nature.

Absolutely stunning place to stay. We would recommend it to anyone looking to stay in a private, quiet location. We watched the most beautiful sunsets and our son loved playing out in the snow. The sledges were well used and loved by the grown ups too!

Beautiful riverside cottage, quiet and peaceful. Far from the city but with activities possible by car in the surrounding area. Indoor sauna, outdoor grill, snowshoes available, as well as sleds. Welcoming and attentive host. We had a wonderful stay!

Beautiful cottage for family holidays. Very easy to access and at the same time alone in the forest. Beautiful walks directly on foot. We enjoyed the sauna and the northern lights visible from the garden if the weather is clear:)

What an amazing stay we spent in Marko's lovely cottage. The chalet itself, very beautiful, cozy, warm. Very well equipped with pleasant decoration. The private toboggan run where the kids spent hours having fun, the sighting meadow for the Northern Lights that we were lucky enough to be able to admire. The frozen river that was our world of explorers. It was happiness, for parents and children alike. And Marko is a host who is always available and extremely kind.

The location is perfect for who loves Lapland wilderness. Peaceful, lost in the woods in front of the river. I recommend!!!!!!

This is an ideal place to stay in Lapland. It is 20 mins drive from the airport and Santa Clause visit, so easy to reach, but also in a very quiet and idyllic location. The host is very friendly and always easy to contact. I took my daughters (8 and 11) and they loved it, especially the sledging around the cabin. Also a great spot to see the northern lights.

A truly unique & alternative experience away from the more touristy/gimmicky options in Lapland. Teemu is an amazing host & made sure we had the perfect stay. When we arrived, he welcomed us with a warm fire, a snow-chilled bottle of champagne & an evening sleigh ride down the frozen river. When we didn’t have plans, he gave us local suggestions & made phone calls on our behalf. His adventures/experiences were also so much fun & we would highly recommend booking at least one dinner as well as his privately guided snowmobile trip. Teemu is a fantastic chef and we greatly enjoyed a 3 course salmon meal in the cozy & pleasantly decorated dinner cabin. The snowmobile ride is worth the price considering you get a 4hour trip across Teemu’s expansive private land & away from the public trail network. Lunch & photography also included. This is one of our favorite Airbnb’s to date & the pictures don’t do it justice. Our stay surpassed all expectations. Very happy we booked!

This is such an unique place. The landscape, the jacuzzi, the sauna with a view, reindeers around the cottage and Northern lights right in front of the door. Everything was just perfect.

Jurko and maikku are very friendly and helpful, always answer our questions promptly (i might ask too many questions too but they are very helpful). The house is super lovely and beautiful. We are able to see northern lights during our stay and it is very clear. I asked jurko whether i need to book aurora hunting and he kindly informed us no need since the house location is already good for aurora sightings. And he was very right! We can admire the aurora from our room. Jurko even provides us with lots of amenities, beverages and snacks which is very thoughtful. We are very satisfied , great hospitality. If we ever come back to rovaniemi we will definitely stay in jurko’s place again. Thank you for making our stay very pleasant and memorable.

An exceptional stay! The location is perfect—close to the main town yet nestled in a peaceful, private setting. The house is impeccably clean, with a very comfortable interior, and the bed and pillows are of outstanding quality. The amenities were top-notch. The jacuzzi and sauna were spotless and easy to use, and having our own ice pool was an absolute highlight! The view of the northern lights from the lakeside location was simply unparalleled—hands down the best spot to witness this natural wonder.
