From booking to arrival Sotirios has been a 100% host. The apartment is totally as described with all modern fixtures, fittings and appliances. The beach is a very short walk away. This location is perfect for exploring what Chania has to offer. Charm, beach, sea, food ,drink and culture. We covered over 40 miles on foot over the week wandering around all the nooks and crannies, streets, tavernas, restaurants and chilling on the beach in the sun. My partner celebrated her birthday while we were staying. On the morning we were greeted with a tray of biscuits, preserves and homemade lemonade. Even a hand made necklace for the birthday girl! Sotorios has made a stay extra special and helped us enjoy our time in Chania. You will not be disappointed! Thank you Andy and Carol x

Chrisi is an excellent hostess! She was always helpful and always in a good mood and friendly. The apartment is perfect for excursions, but also perfect for the beach around the corner. In addition, there is everything you need to live and there is even a small bottle of Raki in the fridge to welcome you. We will come back here again!! Brigitte and Peter

This was one of the best Airbnbs we have stayed in. Stefania is the most thoughtful host, she was so friendly, always responsive and greeted us with a home cooked meal which was such a treat when we arrived from our late night flight. The place is stylishly decorated with a lot of thoughtful touches. The beds are very comfortable and the parking spot in front was very convenient. Great location, Lidl and Sinka are about a 10 min walk for groceries. There is a bakery just on the Main Street where we got bougatsa most mornings as well as a lovely breakfast spot called Lily cafe about a 15 min walk. The beach is also only a 10 min walk away. We loved our stay and would love to come back. Thank you.

My family and I spent 6 days in Chania, our stay was very pleasant and comfy. The apartment is spacious, clean, and has everything you need for a good holiday. The location is great, only a 5’ walk from the bus station and 15’ to the old harbour. There are plenty of coffee shops, bakeries (you must try their bougatsa), supermarkets, and shops nearby. The apartment is on the 4th floor with a lift from the 1st floor, although you still have to take the stairs to reach the lift. Keep this in mind when bringing luggage or if you're travelling with elderly people (wasn’t a problem for me, even though I’m 8 months pregnant, and for my in-laws). Parking can be tricky if you want to leave your car on the street, but there are some private parking a few blocks away, which I think is a more sensible option if you are renting a car and don't want any surprises. Overall, we enjoyed Sofia’s place and highly recommend it if you want to have a great time in Chania

We had a great experience staying at Nomada flat. Very professional host that responded to our messages and requests swiftly. The flat was clean and exactly like in the photos. The location was perfect for us. The only improvement I can recommend is the Wifi speed, its fine for normal internet browsing but not enough for work purpose.

We've just had two wonderful weeks in Maro's apartment. Beautyful view over the sea and Rethymno from the large roof terrace where you can find sun or shade all day long. The apartment is very spacious and is equipped with everything you need. Katia was very helpful when we arrived late in the evening, and there was bread, butter, homemade jam, etc. in the fridge for next day's breakfast plus a bottle of water, a bottle of wine and of course raki :-) Katia also brought fresh fruit from the garden of Maro's parents during our stay. To everyone who wants to go to Rethymno: This place is worth every penny - rent it!

If you love a vacation off the beaten track, away from the crowds of tourist resorts... this is your place. The house is located in a small village attached to the rock with stunning views of the Rokka gorge. The terrace you'll share with other guests is perfect for enjoying breakfast or an aperitif. Be aware that there are cats that come looking for food... for those with allergies... Marianna provided us with food for the first night and was always responsive to any questions or problems. Rokka is the ideal place to explore the beaches of the northwest of the island and Chania. The southwest beaches are at least an hour's drive away. We're taking beautiful memories with us Thank you.

Great stay for Chalepa area in Chania!! Very friendly and helpful understanding. The apartment was very clean and in line with the description, and they provided us with a park for the baby!

One could not ask for a better host—Valia and Stelios were available in a moments notice. The size of the apartment is wonderful, the layout is great, the views of the White Mountains from the terrace, and the kitchen and bathroom are spectacular. And we could not have been happier with the neighborhood, which is filled with anything you might need—local restaurants, fresh bakeries, cheese, fish and meat shops, produce stores, home goods shops, and diverse clothing shops, especially along the short 10-min walk to the port. Two 24-hr groceries stores and two coffee shops are just around the corner, as are two parking garages.

Studio well located in Rethymno downtown convenient to explore the city by foot. If having a car, parking can be found in the square. Quiet neighbourhood overnight. Best souvlaki restaurant/take out nearby. Giorgos is a very gentle and accessible host. Thank you for everything!

Pretty easy to get to our maps took us to the wrong location it was actually about 100 ft ahead in a cut out. But over all the place is very clean close to the old port where all the clubs and restaurants are so no need for a car.

For today, this is my best experience with Airbnb. It felt like you were visiting a good acquaintance. The house had absolutely everything!! The place was very clean, cozy, looked much better than in the photos. White fluffy towels , robes, clean bedding. In each room there is an air condition. The kitchen is equipped with just everything you need - coffee, tea, butter, sugar…. A nice new frying pan is an ordinary problem with this in the rented accommodation. Lots of necessary utensils. The host left us fruit and lemonade as well as raki. She was constantly in touch and helped with anything. I would rate this place 12 on a 10-point scale 😍 I am very impressed with such a wonderful welcome and hospitality of the hostess. We'll definitely be back !

We had a perfect stay here. We loved the location- a 10 min walk to old town but also with many local restaurants right outside. The apartment itself was incredible with everything you need and Christini was very friendly and gave us recommendations:)

It was super nice here. We were warmly welcomed and communication went smoothly. The place is as pictured. You're a bit up the mountain, which is super nice because it's much quieter there. The city and the beach are within walking distance. We were very satisfied.

Anastasia’s apartment is really nice, the view is amazing, and the surrounding neighbourhood is peaceful perfect for a peaceful trip.

We enjoyed the time in the secluded, quiet place very much. The house is quite modern, the kitchen equipped with the essentials and the pool is a poem. In the garden you can relax very well and soak up the sun all day. Especially the breakfast and the evening workouts in the yarn, we enjoyed extremely. The cot was ideal for our toddler. We highly recommend the place.

We really enjoyed our stay at Alexandros apartment . The garden is amazing & the host is professional & friendly . Alexandros was very helpful with everything we asked . The swimming pool is big & the garden furniture is very cozy . The appartement itself is very functional & only 10/15 mins drive from the old city . We highly recommend it .

It was a special vacation. Pavlos is a great person very helpful in many ways. The apartment exceeded our expectations. Immaculate cleanliness of the house , pool and garden. The area of the apartment is impressive and the furnishings of the apartment. You can say a lot in superlatives. Our daughters were delighted and so were we. We'll definitely go back. The perfect place to explore the western part of the island. Peace and quiet. Private parking is a big advantage. We're so happy. We love this place. The apartment is amazing and very clean, the surrounding is very calm and peaceful. The host is very respectful and very helpful, we had an issue and she was very responsive in fixing the issue immediately without delay. She’s very caring for her quests. Would definitely stay here again.

We spent almost 2 months at the Menelaos and everything was good. The apartment is in a peaceful neighborhood, not far from the center ( ~ 15 minute walking). The place is simple, but it has everything you might need for a longer stay. The outdoor space is very nice, we enjoyed mostly the barbeque as we stayed during the winter, but the pool is definitely worth it during summer time. We both work remotely and never had issues with the internet. For us the place was perfect as you have everything you need at walking distance (gym, weekly farmers market, coffee shops and restaurants, veterinarian etc). Menelaos was available all the time for any question/issue that we had. Definitely recommend the place for longer or shorter stays.

Difficult to find better value for money than Antonia's place. - Quiet location away from major roads and yet close to a village where it is easy to get supplies - Cleanliness and comfort of the cottage - Swimming pool available - Small quality family tavern nearby in the village - Kindness of Antonia, the owner We had a pleasant stay. A property that we would recommend to those who want to visit western Crete in good conditions.
