A great short getaway at Glen’s place who was a lovely host and took time out to meet us and show us around. Felt very comfortable. A lovely, quiet and safe location with a lake. Plenty of ducks wondering and roaming around. Overall Glen’s lodge was clean and tidy, we were also left with a few goodies along with eggs and milk. Would definitely recommend for couples and a small family of 4!

A beautiful and quirky house with so many different spaces for socialising. Really well equipped so perfect for a getaway with friends. Relaxing and tranquil so this was a wonderful place to unwind and spend quality time with friends or family.

Beautiful home and lovely surroundings. The house was clean and had everything you would need for a weekend away. Host was very friendly. Would definitely stay again and recommend to friends!

A great host and close to town. this accommodation was perfect for my family's needs. Spacious and with 4 comfortable seating areas this home was perfect for the 5 adults staying. we didn't feel like we were in eachothers way. our early rising dad was able to get up, have coffee and relax without disturbing any of us. The multiple bathrooms made it easy for 5 adults to get ready and out. We didn't get to use the hot tub but the host had left clear instructions on how to. The taxi numbers shared with the host were brilliant. the companies were cheaply priced and new exactly where we were, they arrived within 5 minutes. A tucked away, private spacious family home, close to town with great hosts.

We stayed for 3 nights family of 10 for my mum and dads 60th Wedding anniversary, Magda arranged flowers, Balloons, Champagne and some lovely biscuits. The house was immaculate and everything you could ask for. When it rained we could all sit under the Gazebo or in the hot tub and the children played air hockey, pool and table football not forgetting Connect 4, my favourite 🤩 . The hot tub was checked everyday and the host brought some lovely treats each morning so nice, it’s a 5 minute walk to the centre and a short ride to Fantasy Island. It’s in a quiet location no noise at all. Everyone question I asked was answered in minutes. Fantastic house, excellent Hosts we will certainly be back I would recommend to anyone wanting a beautiful house with so much to do you don’t have to go out and every takeaway on just eats or a short walk to many places to eat. None of us wanted to leave

Was a lovely little annexe on the side of the main house. Quiet and peaceful area with a beautiful garden and lovely undercover hot tub with a lovely view. In a quiet little village but not too far from a lot of attractions where you can go for walks, sight see or just relax. Claire and her family were very welcoming and friendly and were always there if you needed anything. Always quick to respond to messages and happy to help where she could. Was a perfect little getaway for our 2nd wedding anniversary and we would highly recommend Hazel Nook to anyone thinking of a getaway :-)

Beautiful home looking out on to nothing but fields and greenery. Hannah was super helpful and responsive, making the stay relaxing and stress-free. Didn’t want to leave!

We had a wonderful stay at Ivor’s place! The house was spotlessly clean, really well equipped and had everything we needed and more. Sofas and beds comfortable, garden lovely and secure. There was really helpful information from Ivor about everything in the house and the surrounding area. My favourite thing was being so close to the beach that you could hear the sea waves from the garden. Thankyou Ivor - we would very happily stay again and hopefully will one day!

We had a lovely time at Sam's home. Myself and partner stayed with our 11 month baby, 2 year old, and 3 other family members. We all agreed that the good aspects of this home were VERY good and enabled us to have a brilliant time. The garden, pool and outdoor shower were the definite highlights of the stay. Inside the house was clean and the layout and space worked well for all 7 of us. As stated above, certain features of the stay were outstanding which is why we gave it 5 stars but there are a few aspects we felt could really take it to the next level. Not being able to flush toilet paper, electric bin not working, big crack in top landing window, bizarre food left in fridge, freezer and cupboards (beetroot in fridge, cat food in cupboards), door handle broken in downstairs bedroom leading to garden, dishwasher full on arrival, blinds not rolling down/up properly etc All things that are easily sorted and would ensure the same high standard throughout.

We had the most amazing family stay for our mum's 60th birthday. The house was beautiful, interesting and fun. It had enough for all ages to do and the outside pool, tubs and eating space was perfect. We were so lucky with the weather and instead of going out to do expensive activities we made the most of the house, fishing, park and pub (so family friendly). We would definitely come back but would avoid the middle of summer as the house did get extremely hot, especially upstairs. It wouldnt put us off going back though. John was a lovely host and friendly. John met us on arrival, showed us around and gave us all the information we needed. The lodge was beautiful, peaceful and so welcoming. It felt like home and was such a relaxing trip, John even left us a bottle of Prosecco. We would 100% go here again. The hot tub was an added bonus to the trip. The lodge was exactly like the photos and better. Just what we needed for a relaxing and peaceful weekend away. The pub is right next door, with amazing food and good portion sizes. The locals are so welcoming and friendly. I can’t wait to go back again!

The Ella Lodge was everything you want and more. It was peaceful with beautiful scenery. Spacious. Everything in a kitchen you could possibly need. The beds were so comfortable. The hottub was constantly maintained. The site is so clean and the reception people were so lovely. For the fishermen.... all 3 pools were fantastic and well stocked. Our biggest was 10.5lb from the monument but another guy caught an 18lb from the reception pool. The local town was lovely, there's a great pub called The Mall which does really good food. Plenty of little supermarkets and a few takeaways if you don't want to cook, all less than a mile away. We will definitely be back again. Thank you for having us!! 10⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Kirsty x

The lodge was beautifully decorated and pristine. It was perfect for our weekend away. Julie was very friendly and helpful and we even received a thoughtful gift basket. Thank you both for a wonderful stay! We can't wait to come back. x

Had a fantastic long weekend here with family. With two toddlers the place was very secure with lots for them to do. The play area was a big hit. The under cover pool was amazing and the jacuzzi. Perfect stay. Would definitely recommend. Lots of space for 11 adults.

Had a wonderful stay at the little reef lodge. It was clean and comfortable and we felt right at home. Everything was perfect, peaceful and quiet. Very doggie friendly also, get all round trip for all the family.

Amazing lodge, very clean and had all the amenities needed. We stayed for 1 night for my husband’s birthday and the little touches were lovely. A bottle of prosecco and orange juice plus milk in the fridge, toiletries in the bathroom and robes for the hot tub! The hot tub was so nice, especially sitting inside and taking in the views!
