Monthly Rentals in Kirkstone Pass

Richard’s lodge is lovely & in a very nice holiday park with glorious views. We were very lucky with the weather & we enjoyed using the outside seating area on the patio & watching & listening to the abundant birdlife, & catching glimpses of the birds using Richard’s little birdhouse! The lodge is comfortable, clean, spacious, decorated & furnished to a high spec, & is well equipped. We found Troutbeck to be a good base for exploring the surrounding areas, & we enjoyed travelling on the steam railway, & taking the ferry across to Bowness. There are a number of NT properties to visit in the area, our favourites were Beatrix Potter’s home, Sizergh & Townend, & we used the open-top buses to explore the area (free using our ‘oldies’ travel passes!👍🏻). We had some lovely meals, & a yummy breakfast, at the Queen’s Head just down the road. They had some good beer there too! Richard is a very pleasant & responsive host, and we would highly recommend his lovely lodge. Thanks Richard!

We had a wonderful stay in Jeanette’s beautiful apartment. Views all around are spectacular and the area is great for walking at low and higher levels. Jeanette is very responsive and she made sure we had everything we needed.

Fabulous location, quiet but easy to access whole of Lake District from here. House layout is ideal with two bedrooms and en-suite for both, unusual but was fantastic. Property very well equipped and very clean. The Mortal Man, a pub down road, serves excellent food and well worth a visit. This property is the best Air BnB we have ever stayed in, can't recommend it enough.

Could not fault this place. Simone is an excellent host. She's really friendly and helpful and so obliging. We had an issue with the smoke alarm going off in the early hours (2.30am!!), and it was a fault on the alarm. We advised her the next morning and she was onto it straight away, communicating with us as required. The kitchen had everything you need, the water was lovely and warm, the heating timer could be over-ridden, but we didn't need heating while we were there. There was not a single thing wrong with this place. Nearby is Allan House and Dove Cottage for Wordsworth fans - word to the wise - get there early before the school outings/coach tours!
