Holiday rentals with a washing machine and dryer in Kirkcaldy

What can we say? Ceilidh (and Ada) are the best superhosts we stay with. This was our 2nd visit and our honeymoon, travelling from Gretna Green in the morning. She made our very special weekend even more so, attention to detail goes above and beyond. I would highly recommend and anytime we are visiting Edinburgh we will always try and reserve Ceilidh’s place.

We had another highly enjoyable weekend at Swallows Nest, our 2nd short stay at this very peaceful and comfortable property. A home from home, in very beautiful and special surroundings. Already arranging our 3rd visit … :) Highly recommend for a family or couple. Thank you both!

We had a wonderful stay at Vinay's apartment. The location is ideal, as it's a bit outside of the city centre, but only a short drive away, and the bus stop is also very close by. Beautifully decorated and cosy, and we felt at home. All the extra little touches like milk, granola, etc was thoughtful and hugely appreciated. It was very clean and all the amenities we could need. I would highly recommend staying here.

We had a wonderful stay. It was peaceful and relaxing. Kitchen had everything needed, bed and sofa were very comfy and we loved the wood burner. We brought wood from the purple shop ( dog friendly and well stocked!) and had fires in the evening. Beautiful beaches in easy walking distance. we loved it and hope to be back :)

A clean and spacious flat, a lot of buses nearby and at 30min from Princes street. The sea at a 5min walk is a nice plus !

We absolutely loved our stay from booking to finish with Victor and Aaron! Aaron was very responsive and communicative. The self check-in was easy with all the detailed instructions he provided and we were able to check in early. The place was very clean and exactly what we needed after several other stays without these amenities. The shower is great and the washer and dryer were extremely convenient as well as all the kitchen supplies provided. It’s in a very quiet neighborhood and we decided to take Ubers into the city which were never more than 20 minutes. Overall we would highly recommend this Airbnb for anyone coming to Edinburgh! The Shiel House was an absolutely stunning and massive property. We visited as a large group of 8 on a golf trip, and this was the perfect Airbnb. It was beyond spacious, with all the amenities a large group would need for a week long stay. The location was great for us with popular golfing destinations like St Andrews and Gleneagles within driving distance, as well as a litany of local courses. We also were within driving distance of Edinburgh with plenty of fine dining options. Tim was a very gracious and helpful host who provided clear instructions on locating the property, as well as a fun treasure hunt that takes you around the property and to local spots. Overall, we couldn’t be happier with the property and the host!!

One of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed - both the beauty of the surroundings and the house itself with gorgeous views and unique design and decor. Cozy living room with great view. Basically two master bedrooms. Great kitchen and dining room. Nice deck if weather permits. Close to railway walking path. I even caught four brown trout from shore just across the lake. Highly recommend!

The property and location were perfect. The host, Jamie, was very good at responding if we had any queries and was proactive at providing us with recommendations prior to arrival. Would definitely return!

The location was perfect. It was in the less crowded west end area and less than a block to the bus stop (which we highly recommend figuring out the system so you can get around quicker). However, you can also walk to old town in 15-20 minutes time. There are many good restaurants and groceries within walking distance. The attached garage was an awesome perk since this was a stop for us in our long road trip.

A beautiful house with sheltered private garden. Great location in the centre of Elie. Ann was very responsive to messages. Comfy beds, beautiful kitchen and fabulous showers! We would love to come back!

We, a family of five, enjoyed wonderful four nights in the lovely House on the Hill which was exactly as described. A great plus was the tennis court, that was very well received by our children. Walking the dog was a great experience. We used the farm cottage to explore Scottish Borders, Northumberland and of course Edinburgh. We would certainly come back and highly recommend this lovely place!

This is such a beautiful property and the surroundings are so peaceful! The cottage was well furnished and provided a home away from home while we travelled and worked throughout the UK. Cass was a great host and very accommodating.

Excellent stay at the Wee Lang, perfect location for our visit to the area. The flat was comfortable and well appointed. Close to all amenities and a fabulous restaurant/bar across the road. We would definitely recommend and stay again. Thank you.

We had an a wonderful stay. The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything I needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The location was perfect—quiet and very peaceful but still close to local attractions/restaurants/supermarkets. The private walled garden was great and very much enjoyed by our dog. Elizabeth was incredibly responsive and thoughtful, providing clear instructions and helpful local tips. It really felt like a home away from home. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

We had a great stay in Prestonpans. Visiting Edinburgh for the marathon this location was perfect for us. The apartment had everything we needed for a really comfortable stay and Georgi & Yoanna were so great - providing us with helpful information in advance and really paying attention to our needs and interests. We couldn’t have asked for better.

Perfect, the atmosphere inside was impeccable. I dream of going back, I would have liked to stay longer. Grace was very kind and even offered us activities.

This place far exceeded our expectations!!! One of the nicest places we’ve ever stayed out. The comfort of the home is amazing and the decor is fun yet homie, yet the architecture was left to amaze and was well preserved. Felt like home right away. The location was great and was an easy walk to the Royal mile and everything else nearby. If returning to Edinburgh I’m booking here again.

We spent two nights at The Butler's Basement for my husband's birthday and it was an ideal base. We did have an issue getting in as the lockbox didn't work, but her son came down and resolved the issue. The apartment was very clean and in a great area - some lovely bars and restaurants that we preferred to spend time in, more than the busier side of Edinburgh. Gemma was very responsive to my messages and we also had a bottle of fizz in the fridge as well as some short bread and chocolate. It might be an idea to put a small bottle of milk in the fridge, as we did have tea and coffee provided but didn't want to buy a whole pint of milk to make a couple of drinks. However it certainly wasn't an issue that would stop us staying again!

Excellent location. Easy to get around Edinburgh from there!
