Really helpful host and lovely location!

we visited to go to a wedding locally, so did not get to see to much of the local sites, but our stay was very comfortable and very pleased with the cottage as the weather meant we spent more time inside than we had planned. well done on providing such a nice cottage.

Beautiful home, very spacious and plenty of amenities. felt right at home! perfect for toddlers too. Ian was great, very helpful and easily contactable.

We had a fantastic time at The Stables celebrating our rescue greyhound’s fifth birthday - she got to run around happily in the enclosed garden whilst we enjoyed our complimentary Prosecco in the hot tub!Secluded location, relaxing and everything you could need thought of by Paul & Fiona. Highly recommend!

Beautiful location for a lovely farm stay, great views from the hot tub! Loved being able to watch the cows and sheep. Claire was lovely and was ready to help at any moment despite us arriving so late at night! Highly recommend and will definitely be coming back!

We all felt incredibly spoilt at tower cottage. The accommodation just had a wonderful, relaxed, comforting playful energy about it. It felt that every ornament or artifact that the cottage held had a story behind it and what a privilege for us. It was joyous. The grounds, well that was something else. Early morning Deer, the call of the chiff chaff, the fast low flight of the sparrow hawk through the woods, the soothing sound of the stream in an evening, a great crested grebe joining us for our Sunday morning dip and the joy of the marble run in the woods reminded us to freely play all weekend as a friendship group. Living next door, Ruth and mark were on hand if we needed help or advice without ever feeling like our time and space was compromised. Relaxed wholesome hosts who love where they live. Their kindness was infectious. We will definitely be back.

Lovely cottage. You would never be able to tell that pets are allowed as it’s so clean and smells lovely. Garden is lovely and private, and cottage is so cosy. Sofa and beds are very comfy too. Has everything needed for a weekend away . Will definitely return if welcome.

Teapot Cottage is a beautiful place to stay. It was very well kitted out, decorated very nicely, and had lots of nice touches to make our stay even better. Lammisa was a great host - very responsive and friendly, and was happy to help whenever needed. There's great local amenities within walking distance, and several local villages and towns within a short drive, including Ennerdale Lake. The place was very comfortable, with plenty of seating indoor and out, with several comfy beds suitable for a group of adults. The only thing to be aware of is that the bedroom with the bunk beds has very little storage space, so if you're staying for a few days and have a large bag/suitcase - you'll need to find somewhere else to put it! Overall - we were all very pleased with this stay and we'd definitely book again in future.

Lovely little cottage in a quiet town, would stay again. Easy access to the lakes if you’re a walker!

An excellent cottage walking distance to the town centre. Close to pubs and shops. The property was in excellent condition and the welcome pack was very nice. Excellent stay.

Our stay was home from home fantastic location with great views. The house had plenty of room was comfortable and very relaxing. Mike and Hazel were super hosts all our needs were taken care of. We will most definitely be booking another stay soon.

Alison is a delightful lady. So kind and helpful. Her cottage ( we stayed in Jemima Puddleduck) was very comfortable. Beds and pullows especially and all spotlessly clean. All we needed was provided Alison had thought of everything. We had a fantastic week. Thank you.

A fantastic option for our week in the Lake District. Conveniently situated, spotlessly clean and well equipped. A very comfortable place that exceeded our expectations. We will definitely be back.

We arrived and were met by the host who was so friendly and approachable. The cottage is just beautiful, the views are out of this world, stunning. We walked up the crag in the first evening and would highly recommend this. The facilities in the cottage are everything we needed, incredibly comfortable bed and lounge area. Although after arriving the weather turned against us, it in no way stopped us getting out and exploring and coming back to the cottage and knowing we could warm up and rest for the evening was a blessing. Overall, there is nothing we could add to improve things, we just wish we had been there longer and would love to come back! Thank you

Second stay in this wonderful cottage, which was spotlessly clean and equipped with everything we needed for a peaceful and relaxing break in the lakes. Perfectly located on the edge of Cockermouth, the private off-street parking is a big plus. Highly recommended.

Had a great couple of days at Strawberry Cottage. The place was clean, cosy, and had all the amenities we could need. The location was fantastic - only a very short walk into Keswick Town Centre. Would highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at Rosewall cottage. Beautiful cottage in a lovely village with lots of easy walks surrounding the old Abbey. Our host Tina provided a lovely clean, well stocked and equipped place for us to stay and couldn’t have been more helpful. We would definitely love to return.

My wife and I stayed 4 nights at Crook a Beck Barn. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this property. It is well equipped, with a great kitchen, plenty of wardrobe space and a large walk in shower alongside a large bath. It is in a peaceful setting with beautiful views and has all levels of walks available straight from the property. We enjoyed the extras especially the lemon drizzle cake made by Judith. We will definitely books this property again on our next visit to Patterdale.

Our stay could not have been nicer. The small cottage is cozy and surrounded by beautiful nature. Fiona and Paul were both super nice and easy going. We felt right at home. A large peacock came right to our door every morning and showed off his beautiful feathers. We biked on the National Cycle route #7 that goes right by their house. We also participated at The Gralloch, a yearly gravel biking race nearby. It was nice staying in very calm surroundings before the race.

Thank you so much to Joanne. This was the perfect location for our needs but we wanted to also feel like we were on a little holiday and the cottage certainly helped! So tastefully done, cosy but spacious and has everything you could need. Being so close to the shop and pub is obviously also a plus! Lovely and clean, comfortable, and great host. The River Barn exceeded all of our expectations and was even more beautiful than the pictures portrayed. The River Barn was very comfortable (the bed was awesome) and all amenities to prepare meals, enjoy a BBQ or go on a picnic were readily available. The location was perfect for our purposes; we greatly appreciated the beautiful and peaceful surroundings of the property but it also provided easy access to Windemere, Ambleside, Grasmere and Keswick where we enjoyed going on several walks. We can't say enough positive comments about our host, Otto communicated with us on several occasions and provided us with lots of information --- where to eat, where to visit and nearby walks. If interested in enjoying a delicious Sunday roast, be sure to reserve a table early at one of the two pubs within easy walking distance. We highly recommend staying at the River Barn and can't wait to visit again!!

The barn was clean, warm and had everything we needed. Great location for day trips to Keswick, Ambleside, Ullswater etc! We had a lovely time and will definitely come back! Thank you :)

I thought the pictures were nice when I booked but the place was beyond my expectations. It had everything you could wish for and looking out at the waterfall was just amazing. I have never seen anything quite as beautiful. The hosts were fab and were very welcoming and the surrounding countryside is just stunning. I had a wonderful stay. I will definitely be back.
