Monthly Rentals in Kinsalebeg

Our host Rowland was very helpful with information and very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed and wanted for our stay before we got there. Our contact there was also very happy to help and accommodate us and the fresh supplies of milk butter tea coffee biccies etc and flowers that welcomed us were very thoughtful. The cottage was spotlessly clean warm and very comfortable with all modern conveniences and very charming. The location was lovely and quiet just a few horse riders and dog walkers and little weaning calves in next door’s field. By contrast it very near Cobh town with its restaurants and bars or Ardmore village with its beautiful beach. There were picturesque little bays and coves all within a few mins drive and lovely walks around the cottage and the bay. Well worth coming back to both people and place.

Bad: we arrived in cold, wet Spring weather and the house was cold! We made a mistake! We didn’t light a huge big fire. When we finally did light a big, rip-roaring fire the whole house was wonderfully comfortable. Good: we have a dog and Youghal is truly wonderful for walking. Try upstream out of town along the Slob Bank. Downstream and along the Boardwalk for miles. Or around the town for the historic old town walls. And, not too far away, the Ballycotton cliffwalk is fantastic. Also the range of cafes, restaurants and pubs (some of which welcome dogs) within walking distance of the house….. is amazing.

James was so great host and the place was so beautiful, clean and just what we wanted in front of the beach. we're wishing to come back!!

The house was good to find. The key code worked. The entrance is via a small courtyard. The apartment is centrally located, comfortably furnished and has a good layout. The amenities are good. A Euro plug would be pleasant.
