Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Kingscote

We had a lovely few days at Leeward. The house was a perfect base to explore all of the delights of Kangaroo Island. The fully fenced backyard was great for our dogs. We enjoyed our walks along the beautiful beach across the road and the overall peace and quiet. The resident Koala in the tree was an added bonus!

A clean and tidy place that was exactly as described. More than enough space for our group of 7 and the large couch was fun to chill and watch a movie at the end of the night. The stand out feature is of course the view from the balcony.

Mulberry Tree is a lovely place to stay at KI, you could get everything you want and something is even better than your expectation. It’s really a pity that we have to leave KI earlier this time due to the extreme weather and change of the ferry service, Stephanie and Darren have given a lot understanding on this situation and offered the flexibility on the change of our itinerary. It’s the 5th time for me visiting KI, I should have found such a nice accommodation much earlier. Will definitely stay again in near future.

Our stay at the Sleepy Hollow near Stokes Bay KI was wonderful. We chose the place based on the location as we were spending time with friends who were staying nearby but were pleasantly impressed with the high standard and cleanliness of the accommodation. It is beautifully and tastefullly decorated with everything you need for a very comfortable stay. The hot tub was a lovely addition! The location is quite remote and you’d need a car but it’s only a 5 minute drive to gorgeous Stokes Bay. I would recommend a visit and will stay again in the future.

A very nice, clean, modern and well positioned property. House is as described and host very organized and sent us great suggestions for activities and eating. Would highly recommend this property and would certainly stay here again. Thank you for a great stay. Trudy

Plenty of space in this house - large bedrooms and tv in main room. Missed not having electric blankets or a dishwasher but the house stay warm enough with the heater in the ceiling of the main room. Interesting how both the main bathroom and ensuite were at the same end of the house. A secure backyard if we had taken our dogs with us. No beach view but lovely to see/hear a variety of birds.

The perfect romantic weekend away! Peggy and Darian were so kind and thoughtful—even though they weren’t there in person, check-in was seamless and they were quick to respond to any questions. The space was peaceful, beautifully kept, and had everything we needed for a relaxing escape. We’ll definitely be back!

Spacious, clean property. Well located to town and local sea pool. Very relaxing stay.

Friendly host who met us on arrival and showed us through the house. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable bedrooms, spacious rooms, great views over Penneshaw and the the ocean. Very quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed our stay.

We absolutely loved our stayed at the shack! Plenty of room for our family to move about and it was great to sit outside for some of our meals. And the view from the deck was beautiful at any time of the day or night. Very peaceful location which made for great sleep ins, and we enjoyed our morning walk to the local cafe for a coffee. We'll def be back. Thanks for being such welcoming hosts!

Everything was perfect, we had a wonderful stay. We would not hesitate recommending the accommodation to anyone. Thank you Stack and Helen, love what you have done with this beautiful homestead. Definitely needed to stay longer though!

What a lovely beach house, you feel at home straight away. Kitchen well equipped, large deck for relaxing. Private and peaceful, only a couple minutes walk the beach. If you get up early enough you will be treated to beautiful sunrises whilst sipping your morning coffee. You might even get a visit from a kangaroo or two. A number of choices to stay at KI but we definitely picked the right one!

Lovely little cottage just across from the water. Tennis courts across the road as well as a lovely walking path. The space was clean and cosy. The perfect little getaway. The host was friendly, responsive and provided a heap of recommendations for things to do on Kangaroo Island. Overall we had a great stay!

Spacious and clean Airbnb, convenient location, easy check in. The host was very responsive and very helpful! We would definitely stay here again.

What a gem! This cute Victorian cottage is modern and comfortable inside. We loved the location as Brownlow is close to the Kingscote shops and restaurants yet on a quiet typical inner beach; weedy but great for dog walking. Lovely hosts, Sabine and Kevin. Thanks.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely house. Its location is superb, just a short walk from the picturesque Island Beach. We appreciated the additional amenities provided, such as the beach buggy and boogie boards, which added to our enjoyment. The outdoor shower with hot water was a delightful way to end each day. The house offers plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors, with separate areas for adults and kids to relax. While there were frequent visits from kangaroos on the porch, requiring us to keep the dogs on leads, this did not detract from our overall experience. We look forward to staying here again in the future!
