Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Kingscote

Perfect spot away from most of civilisation. There is a little traffic directly past the house to another house on the property which did surprise me a little bit. Beach is very kid friendly and a perfect place to watch sunset. Some things in the house could use a little bit of an upgrade like the old gas oven to which the igniter doesn’t work on, hard to use tongs, or unable to hotspot phone to the tv. Even though off the main path, not too far away from most places. Great stay

We had a pleasant stay - property was as described, linens and towels all very good quality. Safe, well fenced yard for our dog. And great coffee and cake at Cactus. 😉

We loved staying at 4 Giles on KI. We stayed four nights and the house was just perfect. The space was great and has everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. It is 5 minutes walk to the shops, restaurants and other delights of Kingscote. A perfect base for exploring the wonderful Kangaroo Island. Christine was very responsive, providing excellent recommendations and check in was super easy.

The most wonderful home! After 6 months of travel, this was the nicest place to stay and relax. Gorgeous view of emu bay. Within minutes we were driving on the beach. The outdoor shower came in handy! So relaxed and luxurious. Great kitchen including kids cutlery and plates which we much appreciated traveling with a 1yo and 3yo. The host was very helpful in providing a high chair. Also the laundry room was well equipped. All felt new and clean. Very nice outdoor area with good bbq. Watching the sunrise and sunset from this property was a treat.

Great place to stay, clean, voluminous and fully equiped. Perfect area in front of the beach. An extra bonus for the mattresses and the electric heated toppers.

Bretts Rest was a good location, close enough to go shopping & have dinner at Kingscote & easy to get to main roads for sightseeing. Pictures are exactly as shown .. place is so peaceful & quiet. Loved the Bluetooth for music & combustion heater kept the chill out the air

We had a lovely stay at this Kingscote home right on the water. The beds were comfortable and the space for the four of us more than ample. It was a great part of Kangaroo Island to be. Very easy to get to all the attractions; cafe Cactus had great coffee and the pub was good for a meal. Very easy to find and great communication from Marcus.

The large house suited 4 adults and 3 young children very well, close to all the village facilities and ferry. Geoff was immediately responsive to any minor concerns we had, so our few days there went very well. The village also has a RAA charging station which was valuable for the EV we took over.

Fantastic stay. Excellent facilities and very clean. Host was a pleasure to deal with and very helpful. Would definitely return.

My partner and I had a fantastic last minute two night stay at Rachel's. She was very accommodating and helpful on facilitating us staying at short notice. The unit had a beautiful view of the water and was very comfortable, tidy, and well equipped with modern amenities. There were thoughtful touches throughout the place - it was clear the hosts had put in extra effort to make guests feel special. We enjoyed a rejuvenating stay and lovely food and drinks in easy walking distance. We'd happily recommend staying at Rachel's place and would visit again in a heartbeat.

Kathy’s place was great and worth the money. It was as described and photos provided. Place was super clean, lots of cooking utensils and kitchen stuff to use. Convenient parking and checkin was super easy. Highly recommended

Great central location with fabulous sea views. Comfortable, well equipped and cosy. Everything has been well thought out. Would definitely stay again.

Our 2 br unit was spotlessly clean, with everything we needed. Close enough to the town centre - supermarket and cafes and worked well as a base for the rest of the island. Kirsty made contact during our week's stay to make sure we had all we needed and we sure did.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bayview Apartment. The views from the apartment were magnificent. The apartment has everything to make it a comfortable stay for guests. Quiet, peaceful surrounds with lots of birdlife. Perfect location for chill out time. Dirk and Zanne are friendly and helpful hosts. Highly recommended.

Rented the place for my parents as they were visiting me for a couple of weeks here on KI and absolutely they loved every detail of it. Warm, cozy, super clean and the atmosphere made them (and me) feel just like at home. Perfect location and amenities. Thank you, you made their KI and Kingscote experience a great memory.
