Naturhaus Altmühltal

Our nature house consists entirely of natural building materials and uses the synergy effects of radiant heat and solar energy. The untreated wood is constructed according to the system of Bio-Solar-Haus, whereby no paint or other preservatives were processed. The solid wood floors throughout the house are oiled. In addition to natural wood such as stone pine and oak, other natural materials such as natural stone from the region (Jura marble) have been processed. The construction of the Bio-Solar house allows a natural air circulation and thus dispenses with the disadvantages of ventilation systems. There are no convection formed due to a built-ceiling and wall radiant heating.Through the house-in-house system (without vapor barrier), the water vapor can diffuse freely to the outside, causing no condensation and mold. Given the low heating energy demand in the house and the use of solar radiation, no fossil fuels are needed. Solar energy is the main energy source, only in winter can be heated if necessary with the wood stove. Service we are happy to bring you fresh, crispy and wholesome bread rolls from a BIO-bakery from our region.

Stammham is located in Upper Bavaria, about 12 km north of Ingolstadt/Audi, 5 minutes by car to the A9, Munich 55 minutes, Regensburg approx. 1 hour, Nuremberg 55 minutes, Ingolstadt Village 10 minutes, to the Danube Gorge approx. 30 minutes and to the Altmühltal Nature Park about 13 minutes. We have a Netto supermarket, restaurants, butchers, bakers, a doctor and a Raiffeisenbank in the village.

A public playground is right across the street from the property. The apartment is a non-smoking apartment and pet-free.

The quiet, bright, 104 m² apartment is located on the outskirts of town in the immediate vicinity of the forest. The property is located on the first floor in a former farmhouse with free parking in front of the house. Garage parking, as well as charging facilities for electric cars are possible on request. Children up to 12 stay free of charge. Pets by request. Due to increased cleaning effort per animal: small €5, large €8 to €10! Payable on site!

The massive garden house is a separate small accommodation [about 19 sqm], close to nature in our garden behind our house, with toilet and sink for up to 3 people; no shower, no kitchen! Kettle, instant coffee and assorted teas are available. Baby travel cots can be delivered on request. We rent two more guest rooms in the house. There is a guest bathroom available. Hilpoltstein is a small town near Lake Rothsee in the Franconian Lake District.

The apartment is situated in a quiet neighborhood about 2 kilometers from the city center of Regensburg. The beautiful historical old part of the city can best be reached by bus (3 bus lines headed for the city are only a couple of minutes from the apartment). Regensburg university is a fifteen minute walk away. The apartment features a fully equipped kitchenette and bathroom. The fridge has a freezing compartment, WiFi and a TV are included.

Located on the second floor on the southern side of the valley, the apartment is enthroned over the rooftops of the historic Westenvorstadt. In front of the historic Jurahaus, the Kapellbach spring ripples, where plenty of rainbow trout romp in the fresh spring water. Locals refer to the Kapellbuck-Idyll as the Little Venice of the Altmühl Valley. Cafes, restaurants, public parking and the island bath are in the immediate vicinity.
