Beachfront holiday rental in Killarney

My family stayed at Esther's place for 4 nights. We had the most wonderful time! The house has beautiful views of the ocean and is a short walk from both Inchydoney beach and the hotel. The house was clean and spacious with room for the whole family including our dog. Esther was welcoming and provided lots of great recommendations for the local area. We would definitely recommend Esther's place to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday by the beach!

Stayed for 3 nights and wished I had booked longer. Felt right at home. located was lovely, loved waking up and taking the dog for walks along the stone beach with stunning views. The mobile home was cosy and slept great as was so peaceful. Will be back for sure.

What a beautiful place, and what a view! We definitely didn’t stay long enough and if they’ll have us back, we’d like to stay longer next time. Martin & Claire were fantastic hosts and made my family feel so welcome. I really appreciate all the efforts they went to for us and we really loved our stay. Ein wunderschöner Platz, ein wunderbares Häuschen, ruhig, ohne Trubel, bestens, um sich zu erholen und am Strand spatzieren zu gehen. Haus nett eingerichtet, gut ausgestattet und gemütlich .... Kann ich nur mit bestem Gewissen weiterempfehlen. Der Kontakt mit dem freundlichen Gastgeber war ohne Probleme.

Absolutely wonderful place with a beautiful garden. It is right on the shoreline and I loved grabbing the chance to pop in for a swim whenever I felt like it. Stephanie was really friendly and helpful. It is a great base for exploring the area and we loved coming back in the evenings to a little oasis of peace.

We had a great time while at this Airbnb. Great location and views. Short drive to Clonakilty which is a great town. Short walk to Inchydoney beach. Airbnb comes with plenty of essential items. Beds are comfy. Host was incredibly helpful, friendly and proactive..was a pleasure to deal with! Would highly recommend!!

Recommend this house for people who like a fantastic sea view. At night the beautiful sound of the wind and the waves lulled us to sleep. And what about the sky at night...little artificial light so we could count the stars without the light pollution

Absolute must stay!! Marie is so friendly and the place they’ve put together is just perfect and they keep it in tip-top shape. The hot tub is wood fired (so cool!) and relaxing as can be. The location is in a spacious area with cows and horses that you may just see walking onto the beach. 12/10, would stay there again!!

Wow! We can’t say enough good things about this place. Tom and Mary were so helpful, and we felt very comfortable in the farmhouse. It was fun to see the cows going out in the morning and back each evening. We liked being away from things, but it was also super easy to drive to restaurants and fun things for our two year old son. Sandy Feet Farm nearby was an especial delight for our toddler. He chased chickens and played with other kids on the playground. We loved walking down to the beach. We were sad to leave.

Eine der schönsten Unterkünfte, in der ich je war. absolut sauber und gemütlich (der Kamin war schon vorbereitet, wir mussten ihn nur noch anzünden!). Wir haben stundenlang auf dem Sofa gesessen, der Stille gelauscht und das Meer und die vielen Tiere beobachtet. Die Anfahrt ist mit Hilfe der guten Erklärungsvideos auch kein Problem. Einfach langsam fahren und auf die Anweisungen achten.

This us honestly a hidden gem. The location is perfect to venture out and explore Kerry. The house itself was even better than expected - fully equipped, spotless clean and with everything one could ask for. Maureen and Phil communicated super proactive, quickly and very helpful. overall would book again definitely!

Barrow Lodge in County Kerry is a real gem, and it's all thanks to Clodagh and Niall! They were absolutely fantastic hosts. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel so welcome, and nothing was too much trouble. The accommodation itself was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend. Their local knowledge was invaluable, helping us discover some amazing spots in the area. If you're looking for a warm welcome and a great stay, I highly recommend Barrow Lodge! La maison de John est superbe. Tout y est prévu pour que vous vous sentiez à l’aise dans une ambiance cosy et chaleureuse. Le site est vraiment exceptionnel. D’un calme et d’une beauté incroyables. La cuisine est très bien équipée. La cheminée est un super plus ! Nous avons profité de tous les avantages de la maison, sauna et balnéothérapie, c’était vraiment très appréciable. Tomas, le concierge, était vraiment super sympathique, disponible et utile pour nous conseiller sur les atouts de la péninsule de Beara et les restaurants. Nous espérons pouvoir revenir rapidement chez John ! Nous recommandons +++++++ sa belle demeure ! Merci !

Alan and Elaine are unbelievable hosts. Trust me you get way more than what you pay for in this place. Words can’t express how awesome and majestic the view is of Lough Guitane. Two families (4 adults and 7 kids ages 5-14) stayed six nights and saw a lot of the area thanks to Alan and his awesome recommendations. Five large bedrooms give us plenty of room for everyone. Plenty of very nice and well kept washrooms, a wonderfully large kitchen and sitting areas facing the lake with gigantic floor to ceiling windows give you a great view of the lake. The kids appreciated the gaming systems in the “second” sitting room. There were plenty of toys outside to play with. The kids spent a lot of time on these outdoor toys (racing trikes and mini tractors etc). If you’re into animals, you’re in for a treat as the sheep, cows, ducks and hens were all visiting in their neighbouring pasture regularly. The kids loved checking on them and even gave them names. The water is a very short walk down to the beach (perhaps 100m) on the same property. From there you can canoe or kayak (provided by the hosts) or even swim, which we all did with regularity. I strongly recommend hiking mangerton mountain, which is a five min drive away. Laundry room, kitchen supplies, freezer, spices, there was everything we needed. What a wonderful place to stay! Highly recommend.

The photos do not do this place justice. It’s an extraordinary setting. Incredibly peaceful and stunning scenery all around. Our party had three kids under 9 and seven adults ranging from 39-83 and we all got exactly what we wanted from the stay. The kids had the beach and rocks to explore for fish and crabs, the parents had the views and peace and quiet to unwind. If you’re looking for somewhere to unwind then look no further.

My family loved being here for Christmas. It is one of the most beautiful settings we’ve ever seen and so incredibly peaceful. We cooked every day and found the kitchen very well appointed for our family of five.
