Gran’s Cottage is a beautiful three bedroom cottage dating from 1890, fully modernised & refurbished. We can accommodate upto 5 guests in our stonebuilt cottage. Log Burner (logs provided), UNLIMITED WiFi, Dishwasher, Washing machine, Air Fryer, Microwave, TV, PlayStation provided. A fantastic fully stocked local shop 5 minutes walk and a great local pub 5 minutes walk away. Please note, the cottage has a large walk in shower, but no Bath Entry to the property by lockbox. 1 Gloucester Cottages is nestled in the quaint mining village of Stanton Drew in the Chew Valley, Somerset, The village is home of the prehistoric Stanton Drew stone circles, the second largest stone circle in Britain after Avebury. The cottage is great for families and couples, it has a fully equipped kitchen and is furnished through out, a king sized bed and double with all linen included. We have fast wifi, parking and an open working fireplace for those cosy nights in with a bottle of red.

The Vault is a really special space, which we hope you can see from the photographs. It is a basement studio apartment with its own private entrance. It is quiet and cosy with underfloor heating and an ambient temperature all year round. This property is very central, making it easy to plan your visit. We are very close to the harbour and the property is on the famous Georgian Square, Queen Square. It feels like you have stepped into a film from Jane Austen as you come out of the building.

There are shops, cafe's, take aways and pubs all within a couple of minutes walk as well as glorious countryside on the doorstep. It has easy access to the M4 giving it great links to the city centre as well as further afield. The property would be perfect for families and groups looking for a relaxing stay in the Bath area. The cottages overlook a paddock, a wood and views over the magnificent Chew Valley countryside, yet are only a few minutes away from a lot of places of interest like Bristol, Bath, The Cotswolds, Wells (cathedral), Cheddar Gorge and the Mendips Hills area of outstanding natural beauty. The perfect mix of country retreat and city break!

The Nook

Relax in this spacious flat. We aim to make you warm, comfortable and have everything you need. The king size bed will ensure a great night’s sleep; the en-suite has a power shower, bath and wc. Heavenly and local Bramley Products are provided free of charge. The kitchen has a kettle, toaster, Nespresso machine, induction hob, oven, washing machine as well as your cutlery and crockery essentials. The smart TV is set up with a host of apps so you can sit back and enjoy a good box set.

Pretty annex with kitchen and private garden

This lovely annex has its own private entrance with a small fenced garden and patio area with table and chairs. There is one ensuite kingsize bedroom (or 2 singles) and a open plan kitchen with sofa bed (more suitable for children as no separate bathroom) There is parking outside. Our beautiful hamlet is very quiet with great walks from the door. We do run a working farm so you may occasionally hear that in action. It is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travellers.
