We booked to stay with Pippa last minute as we were having car trouble and were due to fly from Bristol airport the next morning. Pippa was very responsive and approved our booking swiftly. Pippa gave clear instructions for us when we got to the property. It was immaculately clean, cosy and overall a gem of a find. It was the first time we have travelled away with our 5 month old baby, and Pippa had a cot at the property to set up for us which was so helpful. The bed was super comfy and we all had a great nights rest before a long day of travelling. Only 5 miles from the airport too, so great location to stay before flying from Bristol. Would highly recommend and would book again in future. 5* host and property!

We loved our stay here. The place was cozy and had everything we needed. Location was perfect - very convenient for exploring Bath. Garden was a bonus - Kids enjoyed watching the chickens. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting this area!

Arthur and Jenie were really friendly, helpful hosts and, oh my, what a beautiful place to stay! The cottage is delightfully quirky with so many interesting touches - the hosts clearly have great taste and you can just tell they've really thought about the details. Lovely Georgian house with lots of original features and very comfortable. Plenty of downstairs space which was also great as we brought our dog's crate with us for her to sleep in and there were plenty of location options for that. Lovely secluded, sunny and enclosed garden at the front. The super king and king size double bedrooms were very comfortable - especially the mattresses. Easy walks with the dog from the house - steep hills though but amazing views in to Bath and across the valley. 5 minutes drive to the Park & Ride on Saturday. Just one bathroom but plenty of room, good shower and lots of light.

Kate's Coach House was amazing. It had lovely views, loads of local walks. Walking distance from the nearest pub and less than a 10 minute drive from the City of Wells. The Coach house was such a lovely place to stay in. We felt like we were home as soon as we arrived. 100% would recommend and stay again.

We stayed for only one night as a halfway point for a long road trip and wish we could have stayed longer. The accommodation was truly stunning, spacious, pristine and immaculate. The small park next door was perfect for letting our dog have a run and sniff. Location is brilliant with lots of amenities on your doorstep. The hosts were incredibly friendly and checked in to ensure we were settled and had everything we needed. We hope to book again!

We stayed at Andrew's place for a week whilst visiting Bath for a family wedding and we were delighted with this wonderful home. The house was immaculate, with stunning panaromic views over Bath and we had a fabulous time as a family sitting out and enjoying the beautiful weather and scenery. Andrew provided everything we needed for a great stay, including guides for the local area and all the amenities we needed for a week stay. The house is a wonderful space for larger families like ours to stay in. Check in was seamless and we couldn't have asked for a more helpful and friendly host! We would love to stay here again in the future when we visit our family in Bath, thank you for making my sister's wedding week such a fabulous experience!

Ann's place is incredible- stayed for two nights and there is everything you could possibly need or anticipate in the house. We had a great time - the pool and hot tub were very clean and the house was perfect! Ann was extremely responsive and helpful. Would absolutely book again!

We had a great stay at the barn, celebrating a big birthday. There were 6 adults staying and we were all extremely comfortable. Mike and Joan were very hospitable, generous and responsive. The barn is as fabulous as the photos suggest. The views are amazing. The pool is wonderful. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay. We very much hope to return.

Wonderful stay! The app with info, in-house info and the booking system for the pool were all very informative and helpful, much appreciated. The grounds are incredibly beautiful, and the pool (the main reason for our stay) was a true highlight. To be able to book in with a lot of flexibility and privacy was wonderful, as well as the long hours available for booking. Cream tea on arrival was delicious! The property itself has everything you need, and we can't wait to book to stay again.

Great place with perfect hosts! The barn is lovely throughout and the location is perfect for lots of interesting places to visit! As hosts, they were really communicative and also respectful of our situation with a nervous dog. Highly recommend!!

We booked here as two couples and had an amazing stay. Jacqui met us when we arrived and was very friendly and showed us what we needed to know. Everything was spotless and it is a very peaceful area. The swimming pool is fabulous and very well kept. The kitchen has everything you need. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and will be recommending to friends and family.

Words from the youngest-"Insanity great! The gardens are so beautiful. The shower was godly—the person who built it deserves a golden trophy." Our yurt stay was magical—peaceful sky views from bed, cosy warmth, and thoughtful design. My son adored the comfy bed and soft rug, and the wood burner made evenings perfect. The shower- Majestic.Heavenly.Divine. The outdoor kitchen kept family time going through dinner prep—fully equipped and easy to use, luxurious. The record player was a sweet touch (bringing records next time!). We barely needed our supplies—towels, robes, coffee, air fryer, hot plate, and every pot and pan were provided. The wild swimming lake was clean and clear, with soft water and tadpoles resting in the shallows. A swing on a giant oak, deer wandering the land—it felt like a fairytale. Amanda and Rob were kind, relaxed, and attentive, with a strong sense of care and safety. Our son was totally at ease—he thrived in the calm. This place is magic. We’ll be back.

Victoria's property is exquisitely decorated and furnished throughout. The location is perfect for a short stroll into the town centre and access to the disused railway walking trail opposite. The living room is large and very light and airy with a high ceiling. Although at first floor level, the back door opens out onto a lovely enclosed garden. Ideal for our dog. Above all, we were very surprised as to how peaceful and quiet the location was. Thoroughly recommend it, couldn't have wished for any more, Victoria had thought of everything.

Me and my friends had a wonderful time at the Showman's hut. Everything was just as we had imagined. Peaceful and relaxing. The only problem we had was that we should have booked the hot tub 48 hours in advance and I did 24 instead so we could not use the hot tub. In the end Neily was very accommodating by giving us some extra logs for the firepit and barbeque which we appreciated. Next time I will make sure to book the tub in advance to enjoy the full experience at Showman's hut as it looked amazing. Thank you Neily for the hospitality.

Highly recommended. This is our second visit. The apartment is very clean, well appointed and set in beautiful, well kept gardens. We enjoyed being able to walk our little dog in the private field/paddock at the rear of the property with lovely views of the surrounding fields and countryside. Well worth a visit and Steve is a very welcoming host.

Fantastic flat in great location. Everything you need for a wonderful stay in beautiful Bath. The amazing advantage of having a parking space made exploring Bath even easier, never used the car during our stay.

The kids especially loved the farm experience – they were so excited to feed the alpacas, sheep, donkey, and fish. It was a real highlight for them! Lyn and David are the most wonderful hosts! David build the home from the ground up and it is very beautiful! We loved how homely it felt, comfortable beds, views that are out of this world and a really peaceful place to be! We can’t thank you both enough for allowing us to share your slice of Mendip Hills beauty!! Lyn left some homemade scones which were to die for! We have to revisit as we didn’t explore all the amazing walks and Wells in more detail , and would not think twice to stay again. PS there is a beautiful little shepherds hut nearby with the same amazing views also built by David (Lyn said because he was bored!) Hopefully David remains bored, we look forward to his next amazing space/s. We highly recommend you visit!

What a perfect spot to stay in Wells! It is absolutely adorable and so well thought out. An easy short walk to do many great shops, restaurants and of course the cathedral and Bishop’s Palace. We really love everything about Wells and this stay added another level of charm.
