De-stress in a quintessential Australian home, beautifully renovated with contemporary amenities and decorated with touches of '70s flair amidst minimal designs. The brick architectural elements are complemented by a lush private deck and garden. Are you are coming to Melbourne to visit our exciting cosmopolitan city famous for sport, arts, dining, nightlife, but want to stay somewhere where there is open space and room to relax? Then this is the place for you. We are in wonderful West Hawthorn, across the river from Richmond but with the amenities, parks, playgrounds, wide leafy streets and houses set in lovely gardens that make the Hawthorn area so desirable. The house has been newly renovated specifically for Airbnb. We can accommodate up to 6 (typically four adults, two children) so you are saving 2 hotel rooms at least. There is off street parking for 2 cars and it's 5 minutes walk to train and Melbourne's famous trams. The Yarra River bike and walking trail is nearby as are access to the Monash and Eastern freeways . We are 3 minutes walk to West Hawthorn village with cafes, restaurants, a great pub, wine bar, supermarket, butcher and chemist. In a little over 10 minutes you can walk to an amazing range of dining experiences - We are happy to make recommendations. We live next door and can be available to meet and greet you and give you some tips and information on the house and the neighborhood (and the rest of Melbourne). Melbourne's West Hawthorn suburb is known for tranquil luxury and Victorian architecture, with easy access to the city and Yarra River. The quiet neighborhood is made up of bike and walking paths, oak-lined streets, and parks. With a myki card (available from a nearby shop) you can catch a train (10 minutes to the city, less to MCG or Rod Laver Arena) or hop on a tram (20 minutes to the city). We are on the Belgrave, Lilydale, Alamein train lines and the No 75 Vermont South to City tram line. If you prefer, bike riding is popular and driving is easy.

Crisp, Fresh and Clean. Newly Renovated Cottage.

You and your group will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally located, private house. Being squeaky clean is what we’re extra proud of. Easy to the MCG - the No.48 tram goes right past The G and gardens. Our stop is number 35; a six minute walk. Great access to public transport, shops, the city and freeway. Please note, we don’t have a bath tub; just a lovely shower.
