Monthly Rentals in Keokuk

We had a lovely stay at the Tree of Life River Retreat! It was very peaceful and scenic. We loved the amount of movies there was to choose from.

We fit very comfortably with four adults and six kids. The kids loved the play nook and we were happy they had their own space. The house was clean, cozy, and spacious and in a nice quiet neighborhood. Very family friendly with a pack n play, highchair, books, games and toys for kids. It had all the cooking supplies we needed and plenty of bedding. Great driving distance from Nauvoo and Carthage, as well as from grocery stores. They also have a fairly large park within a couple minutes drive from the house for the kids to get their energy out. The host was very friendly, responsive, and had great recommendations.

Neat property for our family ages 8-80. Master suite is only accessible via spiral staircase, so not advised for young children or the elderly. Nonetheless, it is a luxurious perch! Windows throughout home provide stunning 360° views. March weather did not allow use of the outdoor spaces that add to the experience (decks, screened porch, fire pit) but there was plenty of space inside for all. Kitchen is well-stocked and cabinets are nicely labeled. Built-in oven is small and cooktop space is limited so plan meals accordingly. Really nice lower level bedrooms, bath, and recreation area. Moreover, host was very communicative and accomadating!

This was our first Airbnb cabin stay as a family and it was memorable! The cabin was roomy enough and very inviting. We especially appreciated the extra amenities, such as the large dining table, 2 full bathrooms, the washer and dryer set, and all the extra towels, sheets and blankets. Additionally, if you’re a history fan, then the not too far surrounding areas have very interesting historical backgrounds (Nauvoo, IL and Keokuk, IA). Not to mention, you’re nearly right alongside the Mississippi River, which has several areas to park and enjoy the breathtaking views). Finally, our host Cathy was very communicative, accommodating and she remained accessible for the duration of our stay. We will definitely return for a second stay!
