Smell of roses. Cotton sheets and linens - my favorite. Comfy bed. Windows can open and let in fresh air. Peaceful getaway from family - morning coffee with surrounding nature to naps. I love the beautiful neighborhood. Although we didn't do it this time, it's an easy walk to a cute town with great breakfast. Just perfect for us

Definitely a great value - lovely spot in the Berkeley Hills. A couple of staircases to get down to the place, but really secluded and private and quiet. Would def book again!

It was a great spot for a one-week visit to the area. It's a quiet neighborhood with views of the Bay and beyond. Blake Garden is just a three-minute walk away, and it was beautiful in May. We spotted local wildlife in the area (mostly when driving home at night): deer, raccoons, and a downhill neighbor seems to have a skunk family living in their driveway. The unit itself is perfect for a couple, and the sofa bed was comfortable for a kid of any size. The shared laundry room was available and convenient. We agree with others who have noted that the in-wall space heater was a little loud. This would not normally be a problem for us, as the droning fan creates white noise -- except at certain temperatures, the thermostat would occasionally cause it to repeatedly turn on and off. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would consider returning if in the area again.

Carolyn was a great host and very accommodating! The space was well designed and perfect for what I needed. The area was beautiful and also very peaceful. The bed was also super comfortable. I would definitely love to stay here again!
