At the top of the stairs is a "loft" area. It contains three single beds. You have full access to all the amenities the Inn has to offer: linens, towels, shampoo, soap, 2 kitchens. Breakfast is self serve at your convenience. We provide everything necessary for you to cook your own meal. Breakfast includes pancakes and waffles, and coffee. This area can be a little more noisy since it is located at the top of the stairs and people mingling in the area below are unaware of your location.

Hostel Bunk 1 - Girdwood

The bunk room at Alyeska Hostel in Girdwood is great for budget travelers who don't mind sharing space. Linens and blankets provided, NO SLEEPING BAGS ALLOWED. There is a common kitchen which is shared, and 2 bathrooms with showers. It's a 1 mile walk to Alyeska Resort, or a half mile to the shuttle stop . There are many summer and winter outdoor activities to enjoy in Girdwood. Moose and bear are common sights so please keep trash and food secure. Please drive slowly, (20mph or less).

Hootie Hoo Hollow Private Room at Friendly Hostel

Hoot your way into adventure at Hootie Hoo Hollow, owl themed private room on the lower floor of the Inn. It offers a queen sized bed and is across the hall from the shared bathroom. It is a perfect blend of social interaction with other travelers or retreating to your private retreat for a comfy night sleep. Whip a delicious meal in the fully equipped shared kitchen or cozy up with a book in your reading nook. Start your day with complimentary pancakes and waffles!

Cozy Cabin w/bathroom and kitchen

A stand alone cabin with modern amenities provides a comfortable warm space to relax in Girdwood. Enjoy a private bathroom with hot shower, a natural gas hearth, and a full kitchen all ready for your visit. Best for couples, but sleeps up to 4, with 1 Queen bed and 2 single bunks. Note, the bunks are high and are recommended for children. $25 per guest after 2. Pet Fee is $25 per night. Self check in is available.

Moby Dick Lodging Room with Kitchenette

This private lodging room has a double and a twin (single) bed. A cot can be added if needed, but it will be tight. You have your own kitchenette, with a stove, a mini-fridge, and a sink. Pots, dishes, silverware and cooking utensils are provided. All you have to bring is your own food. The room offers a view of Resurrection Bay. You share the bathroom with one other room. There is no TV.
