Located between Okayama, Kurashiki, Takamine, and Kitakagoshu, this is the perfect place to stay for sightseeing in Okayama, which opened at the end of November 2021. ★Indoors Renovated over 100 years ago, the interior is stylishly designed by a first-class architect who has been involved in the design of the Fuji TV Bay Area Studio, GINZA SIX, and more, and has a one-rank higher quality feel. We have a fridge, oven range, IH stove, coffee tools for coffee lovers, and a toaster that is very popular with bread lovers, so you can enjoy your stay in elegance. It is cool at high altitudes, and from October to May (or so, depending on the weather), you can also enjoy the fireplace burning brightly. The storehouse has thick walls, so you don't have to worry about the sound like a normal private lodging. Loud music is also OK if you close the windows. ★Outdoors Enjoy breakfast and coffee on the terrace with a great view, or use the outdoor fire pit and barbecue. (No loud noise outdoors after 8 pm.) We also provide rural activities such as strawberry picking, summer vegetable harvesting, and firewood chopping. ※ In summer, insects usually come out, so please refrain from booking if you don't like them.

A private ancient house in a port town

Relax in a small port town. We have self-renovated an old house built about 70 years ago. Spread out and relax in our little home in the port town. There are steep stairs (with handrails) and steps as it is an older home.We would appreciate it if you could take care of small children and those with bad feet. Amenities: Towels (face and bath towels) Shampoo, condition and body soap. Frying pans, pots, knives, cutting boards, chopsticks, forks, spoons Plates, tea bowls, cups, mugs, kitchen scissors, bottle opener Appliance items: fridge, washing machine, hair dryer, Kettle, toaster, microwave, rice cooker * Because it is eco-friendly, we do not have disposable toothbrushes or shaving.Please buy it at the nearby convenience store if you need it or bring it with you. * There is no TV.There are a few books and there is internet, so please enjoy your time slowly.

Our stay facility is a traditional Japanese style house and you will stay in the main building. One day one group and possible to stay up to 4 people. It is possible to stay with your dog. (However, in the tatami room, we will ask you to put he/she in a cage.)

The house opens onto wooden deck where stars might let you forget anything and you can enjoy the sea breeze. You can also enjoy swiming at the beach.

Every time I visit my hometown, I rediscover the charm of Seto Inland Sea area. I've created this house "Kaze Box" because I want to share this beautiful places with many tourists all over the world! It is located on the border with Okayama and Hiroshima Prefecture, with excellent access to famous tourist destination such as Kurashiki, Shimanami cycling road, Art Island Naoshima and so on. If you are a big fan of Fuji Kaze, you can drive to his birth home cafe in 5 minutes by car!

Tokuto is a newly renovated private mansion built in the 1940s on Teshima. It is conveniently located about 15mins walk from Ieura Port. Enjoy the luxurious architecture of the past, such as the authentic hand blown window glass, Onigawara (Japanese gargoyle roof tiles), and the beautiful gardens with an abundance of stone lanterns. The building consists of 2 villas, King Villa & Queen Villa. As a measure against infectious diseases, we accept one group for each building.

[Teshima] YUI: Traditional Japanese Folk House

“YUI” at Teshima in Seto Inland Sea offers accommodation in a renovated old Japanese folk house, completed with a veranda and a garden, located in Ieura. Exclusively for rent of the entire house. It's located 10-min-walk away from the port and tucked away on side street. *Simple breakfast with some bread & coffee/tea are included. We can arrange a restaurant booking for dinner as needed basis. *Staff will meet up to check-in and pick-up service is available.

Japanese Potter's Guesthouse - Wasyugama Kiln Stay

Welcome to Wasyugama, a traditional Bizen pottery kiln guesthouse in the peaceful hills near Kurashiki, Okayama. Stay beside an active pottery workshop and experience the quiet charm of rural Japan. Most guests stay 2–3 nights, but longer stays are warmly welcomed. The house, hand-built with natural wood by my father and me, is a private rental with kitchen, bath, and beds for up to 5 guests.
