Simply magical. This season the sunrises from the stampa are simply magnificent. The house is really big and allows you to stay with plenty of space. You have everything you need on site: barbecue, stampa, sauna, basic necessities etc. The house is very warm and gives a cocoon-like feel, especially with the fireplace. This is a place that I highly recommend especially for nature lovers and unusual places. Be careful, however, not to come here if you expect everything to be served to you. We had to start up the stampa, very easy with the instructions. It was a great adventure. Thanks to the owners who were just perfect and quick to respond to any questions we had. This place simply left a mark on us and will stay in our hearts forever. A magical experience worthy of Norway. Ps: the ferry can be found without problem with the svipper app

Our stay at the cabin was really cozy and comfortable. It had everything that we needed for our stay. The host was really friendly, responsive and proactive for letting us plan ahead in uncertain weather. Most importantly, We got lucky to be able to see northern lights from right outside cabin. I had a mágicas month stay at this cabin. There was lots of snow and wildlife and northern lights more than 10 times. Such a beautiful and quiet place to unwind. I didn’t rent a car, and as long as you plan well you can just use the bus to get in and out of tromso (very limited weekend service though). I hope to return in the summer to have another great, but very different, experience in this beautiful slice of Norway.

We are no strangers to Tromso but this was the first time we had stayed at Monica's place. We were very pleased to have chosen to do so though and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The instructions on how to get there were good although we perhaps wouldn't have tried to drive the final 400m to the house at all if we'd appreciated just how tricky that can be even when it's been 'cleared' and the car tyres were studded. Better is just to park in the garage at the top. The guide to the house also covered everything and we enjoyed in particular the sauna and fire (lots of wood provided). The hot tub is a more basic one but we still enjoyed using it a couple of times. The location is great for the Northern Lights with low light pollution and possibility to walk all the way round the house on the veranda. The house is very well equipped and we discovered the local reindeer whilst making good use of the snow shoes. We'd thoroughly recommend Monica and her beautiful house and happily stay again.
