Settle down and enjoy extra space in the old farmhouse here at Øvre Gjestvang. The house is located on a farm, with full farm operations. The house is large and spacious, and is located with a lovely view over Mjøsa. By car it is about 1 hour to Lillehammer, 50 min to Gjøvik, 30 min to Hamar and about 20 min to Brumunddal. The boys' room at Båkinn farm

We have renovated the old boys' room on the farm, and rent it out for short and longer stays. Pilgrims get an extra discount, contact us directly by texting 97786500. The place is best suited for 2 adults, or a family with 2 smaller children. The house is located in the courtyard, but still shielded. There is a short walking distance to Mjøsa, you can stroll down in 5 minutes. There you can swim. The Pilgrim's Way goes right past the yard, and there are many other nice hiking opportunities by bike and on foot.

The summer barn at Hovelsrud, Helgøya

The old summer barn of Hovelsrud Gård is idyllically located between Mjøsa and a rolling grain field – a simple and unique place for those who want to get close to nature and enjoy the tranquillity of Helgøya. The house is best suited for a couple or a small family with up to two children. Inside, there is a bedroom and an open-plan living room. Outside there is a kitchen bench, with a gas burner and barbecue, a small beach with swimming opportunities and an outdoor toilet. There is no electricity.

Mjøsa is Norway's larges lake with great fishing. The house have a 120 meter private shore with a beach in the end. Perfect for kids (see picture for equipment). The place is close to Mjøsa about 1 hour drive from Gardermoen, the air bus stops 200 m from us. Within 15 minutes there is Totenåsen with plenty of hiking opportunities winter as summer, Norwegian Horse Center Starum, Gjøvik and Toten golf club Sillongen, Gjøvik town with mountain hall and wheel steamer Skibladner. An hour drive to Mjøsbyene Lillehammer and Hamar.
