Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Kansas City

This vintage cottage is beautifully and comfortably updated, a small gem in an upscale neighborhood. It's close to shops and restaurants. Our dogs loved the private fenced yard. We were traveling just ahead of a springtime blizzard and Fritz was wonderfully accommodating with our check-in time. All in all, our stay there was among the best of our AirBnb experiences.

This place was just perfect for our weekend in Kansas City! It was close to everything, easy to find, comfortable, clean, and kid friendly! We appreciated the off-street, safe, well-lit parking area. The host, Ruth, was wonderful! Super quick to respond and very friendly. We will definitely recommend it to any friends/family visiting KC! Thank you!

The place was beautiful. The price per night is totally acceptable. Is very good deal actually. The only thing I don't like is that they charge $140 for a cleaning fee that before you pay, is called a deposit. But after you pay, it shows up on the receipt as a cleaning fee. So you dont get that back...unfair. other than that, the place is great, flexibility on check in but youll run into "that was expensive" thoughts and wish you got a hotel considering the price. But the men who own islt are nice and the place is great. But i left zero mess and wish i could have gotten my "deposit" back.

This place was perfect to celebrate my MIL 80th birthday. We had 13 people and everyone had plenty of room and their own space. We rented the main area of the house/upstairs and the basement and it worked out great!

Nadia's place was perfect for our family to stay in. It was close to many things to eat, see, do. We had no problems with checking in or finding things we needed in the house.

The home had everything we needed and was extremely comfortable. The hosts were accommodating, when we got stuck in a snowstorm. This was our second time renting this Airbnb and it was great both times !

Came in town with my kids for a Chiefs game. We enjoyed our stay and the area. House was great, exactly what we needed. Casy was super responsive and helpful. We would definitely stay again!

Stayed here for two weeks and it was really nice! Cute little apartment, bed is very comfortable and the shower head is fantastic! Really enjoyed my stay!

Everything about our stay was fantastic! Melissa was great, the location was perfect and the room was phenomenal for what we needed. Also - the muffin delivery was top notch. We loved our stay here and highly recommend!!

What a wonderful, ease-filled stay! Russ and Kris were such attentive hosts. They checked in with me numerous times to make sure I had everything I needed. The space was immaculately clean, and was filled with thoughtful touches. I especially loved the reverse osmosis water spigot in the kitchen.

Great place to stay, I will definitely keep this place in mind when passing through!

Skyview Suites is a great place to stay in downtown Excelsior Springs! The unit was extremely clean, adorably decorated, and very welcoming. Robin was a great host. We had a few questions and she was very easy to contact and responded quickly. I would definitely recommend!

This property worked very well for our family. We had 11 people stay here and we had plenty of room. We had a great time with the fire pit and the kids really enjoyed the yard games. We were able to use Marietta’s grill to have a nice cook out. We really enjoyed watching the Olympics together as a family in living room TV area. We really appreciated the breakfast foods provided for us which included bagels, English muffins, cinnamon bread and all kinds of fruit. Very nice! Great family experience and memories!

Our stay in the lodge was wonderful! The inside of the place was beautiful and very peaceful. It was well decorated and the perfect vibe for a weekend get away. The place was warm and cozy and exactly what we were looking for. Chris was great to work with and super flexible. There’s no amount of stars to describe his kindness and willingness to go out his way to make the stay special. He set up special food and drink for our arrival at my request and it set the tone for the entire weekend. We will definitely come back again!
