Stayed for 2 days, Mr. Kish was very friendly person and responses were very quick from his side, and Care taker Ramesh is super proactive, very nice guy and supportive, our checkin and checkout went very smoothly, place is extremely nice and very calm, peaceful and private. Very nice place for family get together parties and for friends and any kind of events. Very big bungalow and nice greenery around. Overall our stay at retreat was super awesome. Thanks to host Kish and care taker Ramesh .

We had a sudden plan on a long weekend and found this place through the App. What caught our eyes was the scenic beauty of the place and surroundings. As described in the picture it was more beautiful at the location. Very serene , calm and peaceful place. Host was very accommodating with the early check-in and late check out. Please don't expect a lavish hotel type arrangements with all the amenities. But worth the stay, kind of Rustic in nature for explorers and nature enthusiast. Kitchen amenities are plenty and you might love to cook your meal and enjoy in the Nature. Wifi and Power backup was throughout our stay. Ashwin was very helpful and prompt with the services which made it more pleasant. Mr Zacaria was also in constant touch during our stay for any needs. We visited the nearest beach on day one, water falls on the next day and a forest trek in early morning to close. Overall a lovely stay and breathtaking scenic views from the location. Would recommend this place ..

The place is really nice and great way to enjoy nature. Deepak’s father and uncle are great hosts. The food preparation was very good and made as per our requests. The property tour was very nice. The place is good for large group outing. Deepak also shared local sightseeing recommendations and those were also good. I will surely recommend the place for those who want to get away from large city hustles for quick de-stress. I wish room windows had nets so that one could keep them open if needed without fear of insects getting inside.

The place is located in an amazing location away from the busy hustles and right on the bank of a river with a view of the mangroves. Prasanna mam is a great host. She is very sweet and friendly and highly approachable. Swiggy services are available from 11 Am onwards. Overall a great place to stay. Highly recommended.

Had a great time at Darshan's place. Recently stayed at the cottage and it was amazing. The cottage was very comfortable. The hosts were incredibly friendly and accommodating. They provided us with lots of helpful information about the area and offered us some great recommendations. The location was perfect and I would highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway.

Very remote and un touristic a magical place. The beach house is sandwiched between a seemingly endless golden sand beach 35kms long and the calm of the backwater. Bicycles rides and boat trips recommended. Doc’s sense of intrinsic beauty and craftsmanship is evident in the 4 homes on the island that he has restored with an artists eye for detail. He was very welcoming and helpful with planning and organisation. We also had great conversations. Theyyam rituals are a must. We were lucky to see the dancing with fire. Otherwise my favorite things were evening Kayaking at sunset to the mangroves and early morning swimming & bird watching in the back water. It’s worth also checking the peacock house on the backwater side, it sleeps 4. Amazing host, beautiful & well maintained property, great play to stay with family!! Pros: 1. 5bhk villa, can easily accommodate a large family 2. Fully furnished kitchen for cooking 3. Large dining table, the entire family can dine together 4. Large courtyard, ample parking space 5. Badminton court was lot of fun 6. Two living rooms and balcony, good place for bonding and spending time with family/ friends 7. Kids loved the bathtub We would love to come back, highly recommend the property to fellow travelers !!

Excellent property on AirBnB ! Amazing views, easy to find and ample space in house. Very good for an entire family ! Ayoob and Ahmed were excellent hosts, very helpful and friendly. Overall had a wonderful time. Only very small issue was that the cleaning staff didnt do a great job before we reached, but I understand that to be a rare incident that has happened.

Very beautiful cosy place, close to the city centre and the beach. The host, Mus, was extremely helpful and accommodating. Definitely a home in kannur, will visit again!
