Lake house holiday rentals in Kalkar

We were there for a weekend with 4 adults and 2 children and it was great. The house is as described and in the photos and everything necessary is available. From baby beds to high chairs, toys and firewood. The garden is incredibly beautifully located with direct access to the lake. There are loungers, SUPs, an air mattress, a fireplace and a pizza oven. Only the weather let us down a bit - but Suzan can't do anything about that :)

We had a very nice girl - weekend and everything was as described. We will be happy to come back.

The cottage is very comfortably furnished and the hosts provide everything you need. The hot tub is the highlight. The only thing we were missing was a closet. Marlie and Mark are very friendly and provided us with tips and were immediately available for questions. We felt very comfortable and definitely recommend the house.

The accommodation was really very nice and John was very accommodating and took care of all our concerns immediately. We had our five-year-old daughter with us, but unfortunately there wasn't much for her to do. The entertainment on the course was rather sparse. Unfortunately, the beach was completely covered in goose droppings. But John can't do anything about all that. Everything that was in Jon's hand was tip-top!!

We spent a nice couple's weekend with four adults at Birgit's. Thanks to the very precise directions, we found the chalet quickly. The equipment is spotless. Many simple things that you like to forget at home, such as sugar, are available. The beds are super comfortable and everything was very clean. You don't notice much from the direct neighbours. We were very impressed with Doesburg and if the weather had been better, we would certainly have looked at more of the surroundings. We are happy to recommend the place.

We look back on a lovely week in Huis Ewijk. We have 3 labradors (13.5 , 11 and 5 years) and a complete and solid fenced garden is therefore very important to us and that is definitely the case here. The house is very beautiful, tastefully and cozily decorated, exactly as in the pictures. Really everything has been thought of, really nothing is missing here to be able to make it a nice holiday. Upon entering the house, we were immediately pleasantly surprised by all kinds of delicacies on the table and in the fridge that Justin and Carleen (nice and attentive hosts) had prepared. Besides, not only we were surprised, there were also sweets ready for the doggies and 3 delicious pillows. The beds (really good nice beds) were already made and there are plenty of towels ready. The windows are easy to black out with roller blinds and there are mosquito screens everywhere. In any case, it is worth repeating for us, we'd love to come back again!

Nice place, nice cottage, everything has been thought of. Good communication with Kimmie. It's great that the beds are made. Park is quite cramped, but with a wonderfully spacious backyard.

A very spacious place to stay designed with attention to detail. It's nice that the former school is also so present in the accommodation. The location is well located between Apeldoorn, Zutphen and Deventer, in the middle of nature. Great to start the day quietly with a coffee and the great view through the giant window in the living room to the vastness of nature. Highly recommended

we had a nice long weekend at the property. the house is freestanding and optimal for 5 people. The adjacent neighboring house had bushes planted, which were also quite opaque. The house had a nice big garden with trampoline, grill, table and hot tub (no hot tub). Unfortunately, the dishwasher didn't quite clean the dishes. But that's just a little something. The beddings and towels were all fresh and the beds very comfortable. We would have liked a little better instructions regarding the hot tub. Unfortunately, there were no barbecue lighters on site, which we then got from the neighbors. In advance, we did not realize that the hot tub takes almost 3-4 hours to get hot and above all a lot of wood, which we also got from the neighbors again, as a package was not sufficient. That must be clear to you. Very nice accommodation in the countryside

There is very peaceful, beautiful place for weekend away from city's. The house is big enough, great kitchen, beautiful view and lots of free space outside. We also visited the playground, bowling, there is enough space around for walking. We were on holiday with a child and two dogs, had a great time, thank you!

We were very happy in the accommodation and felt comfortable. You can sit outside and have 2 toilets inside, which is great for 6 people. Thank you:)

A very homely house, right on the Rhine dam. Super quiet location. Very large fenced property. Dogs are welcome. The house was very clean. After booking, as well as during the stay, we were kindly looked after. Our questions were answered quickly. Thank you and we'll be happy to come back.

The cottage is very clean, spacious and equipped with everything. The host is really friendly and quick to respond. We had a child with us, there were even toys for him. Great, a welcome feeling! There is a lot of playground on the property. During the week it is quite quiet, so our son was able to get away from it all. Unfortunately, the dining on site is closed. By bike you are quickly in the surrounding cities where there is a lot to do, it is a beautiful area. A small tip: bring mosquito spray. It was very hot so we had opened the windows upstairs. That caused some trouble with mosquitoes at night. Everything else is fine.

This is a lovely, spacious apartment in Flüren; perfect for our needs. Matthias was welcoming and helpful and the place was clean and warm.

It is a nice holiday home, but due to the location in the park and the privacy in the garden we had a fantastic time!

We really enjoyed our time in the house. We were very pleased with the sauna, the garden and especially the fact that the house offered a private space. Every detail was taken care of, making our stay much more comfortable and peaceful. I did not see her, everything was digital, but she was very quick and kind in responding and just by looking at the house I could tell that she is very clean and organized. Almost everything had its place, which made it easy to find essential items. We were happy with our stay ✨
