The cottage is as shown in the photos and equipped with every comfort! Everything has been thought of. At the table you can sit with a view of the water where many birds can be seen. When we arrived there was snow and ice which was beautiful to see. In the second half of the week it was so hot that we could sit outside. We have enjoyed the place and the silence. Lovely cabin in a beautiful location. The house was clean, tidy and comfortable with everything provided that we could need to cater for ourselves. Bathroom was well stocked and the shower was hot with good pressure. Nice private garden with fire pit was great for toasting marshmallows. Neighbourhood was really quiet and peaceful, extremely green (it feels like you are in the woods) but close to plenty of amenities. Has a very family friendly vibe. Short walk to the shops/supermarket etc. and even closer to the woods/lakes etc. Lots of good outdoor routes to explore. Adva was great with some walking recommendations. 20-30 mins drive to Utrecht and Amsterdam so easy to dip in for a restaurant etc. although there are some good local restaurants which Adva can also fill you in on. Adva in general was a brilliant host, responsive, helpful and thoughtful. Kid loved it, dog loved it, adults loved it, would highly recommend!

We really liked the house! The location is wonderfully quiet and idyllic – perfect for unwinding. Especially the river directly on the property makes the stay extra special. The house itself is very nice, clean and ideal for a relaxing holiday. We felt completely comfortable!

Our stay in the charming cottage on the island was absolutely fantastic! The location is unique – just 20 minutes by boat from the mainland, but you feel like you are in a completely different world. Those who love nature and tranquility will get their money's worth here. The cottage itself was cozy and well equipped. However, you should not be afraid of spiders, as you are here surrounded by nature and there were some of these little visitors here. I would particularly like to emphasize the accessibility and friendliness of Nadine as a hostess. She answered all questions patiently and kindly and was always available to help and advise. I would visit this place again at any time if I want to escape everyday life and just relax. Absolute recommendation!

We spent a wonderful week at Aagje in Een-West. Beautiful spacious house with a lovely garden. Good beds. We met wonderfully sunny weather. Since it is still early in the year, it was also wonderful to sit in the igloo greenhouse at the end of the afternoon;where it was warmed up by the sun. Aagje is a very sweet hostess;cheerful,interested and always willing to give information about the beautiful surroundings. Een-West offers you the opportunity to look around Drenthe,Groningen and Friesland... Really enjoy! Regards, Jan & Saskia van der Vooren.
