Only 25 mins to ski fields; 15 mins to Tongariro crossing bus shuttle at National Park village. Nearby Ohinetonga reserve is famed for trout fishing, rare whio whio blue ducks, swim holes and the renowned 42nd Traverse bike and running track. Also directly on Te Araroa long distance trail. 15 mins to Taumaranui town. Owhango has a delish cafe too! Pricing is for up to 4 persons.

No cleaning fee. The cabin is a bedroom with the toilet, shower and kitchen located separately a few metres away. You are on the tip of a peninsula in the Whanganui River. Lie in bed and watch the fish rise in the morning or maybe sit around the fire in the evening enjoying the peace and quiet after a refreshing swim. Mountains are 40 mins away, kayaking tours 10 mins away and Taumarunui is 12km. Please don't bring water, free, safe water is provided. Limiting plastic is much appreciated.
