This was definitely a 5 star stay. I’ve stayed at plenty of nice Airbnbs and I think this was my favorite. It’s very easy, in a good location, very safe and extremely clean. Usually you can expect some sand on the ground or on the furniture at a beach stay even after it’s been cleaned, but not here. The entire place was spotless. The hosts were very responsive and kind. The beach is right out front and great for snorkeling and sea turtles. However, the best part was definitely the stunning view. The pictures online don’t do it justice. It’s beautiful. We laid in bed every day listening to the waves and watching the sunset. We woke up to the sunrise each morning. We also spent a good bit of time, especially in the morning, just watching the water. Every time we looked out the lanai we saw at least 3-4 sea turtles and one morning we even saw a sea lion swimming next to the shore. We never turned on the TV. I cannot recommend this stay enough. It’s easily worth the money.

The location is perfect 1000 feet from the big resorts but so much quieter and private. The place looked exactly like the photos, even better actually. Molokai is directly across, bring binoculars might spot axis deer from the balcony. Highly recommend

The unit was very well equipped, including thoughtful extras like beach chairs, an umbrella, and snorkeling gear, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The only minor issue was with the door lock, which was not functioning upon arrival, and I hadn’t received any prior communication about it. Fortunately, we located an on-site maintenance person who was already informed of the issue and resolved it promptly. Overall, I highly recommend this place – it’s a wonderful spot for a relaxing and memorable Mau’i getaway🌺

Unit is conveniently located, north of Lahaina and is easy to drive to any area on Island... our purpose was snorkling and there were an abundance of easy to access areas. Ana is very easy to deal with, very responsive and had all of the basics in the unit. She even emailed a list of "places of interest" for the area. Although we didnt spend much time inside, the unit was perfect. Clean, easy to access and convenient. Would definately revisit!!

The perfect spot to stay for an adventure filled Maui vacation. It is centrally located on the island where there are multiple food trucks, restaurants, and a grocery store in walking distance. The place is at an intersection of 2 somewhat busy streets but the street traffic was not heard inside. The apartment owner has a big map of Maui hanging up with about 20 suggested locations to visit which we found to be very useful as we did a 5-day self-guided tour of the island. I would stay here again for future Maui vacations.

Misti was a wonderful host. Very responsive to any questions or queries we had. Great location with many amenities and restaurants within a short walking distance. And the King bed was quite comfortable and greatly appreciated. Most 1 bd/1ba condos on Maui utilize a queen size bed for some reason. Would book again anytime

Beautiful place and area. Right on the beach, which was amazing. Lots of towels, no need to bring your own shampoo, etc. as those are provided. Well stocked kitchen too. Beach chairs, etc. were also provided. Great trip! We will be back!

this is the best Airbnb on the island! amazing neighborhood close to everything! it felt safe and had a hometown feel. everyone was so friendly. the place itself had everything we needed and the view was incredible! much better than the picture! when our host realized we didn't have beach towels he made sure some were delivered and we were thrilled to come back and see like 6 brand new thick beach towels!! having the washer and dryer in the unit made things so easy too! can't say enough great things about this place and the hosts ! we will be booking here for our next trip! 10/10 recommend!

Gary's place is beautiful! The description on the listing does not do it justice. The Nanea is a dream resort with everything you need. I would stay here again, without hesitation.

This place is an absolute oasis. The freedom to walk a mere few steps directly into the Pacific Ocean was bliss. It wasn't cheap, but it was worth every dollar and I definitely intend to return some day. Highly recommend.

We stayed from June 5-12 and saw soooo many sea turtles from the lanai. Not sure if you can see them year round or just during this time, but it was a real highlight for us! We loved the 5th floor view, both rooms are very comfortable and accommodated two couples well. They have three AC units in the apartment that made it comfortable to sleep at night without getting too hot. The complex has a heated pool that is open until 9PM and scarcely used by others during our visit. They also had beach essentials like folding chairs, a cooler, umbrella, and towels that made our beach trips luxurious! We will definitely look to rent this place again for our future trips to Maui!

We had an amazing week in Maui, and Dora’s condo was the perfect home base for our family reunion. It was clean, comfortable, and located in a quiet area. The kids loved the pool, and we enjoyed using the BBQ for grilling steaks. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the unobstructed ocean view from the lanai was stunning, sunsets and stargazing was so beautiful. Dora was incredibly accommodating with our late check-out, which really helped with our red-eye flights. Highly recommend for families looking for a relaxing, well-equipped place to stay in Maui!

The cottage is really beautiful, in a good condition and equipped with everything you need. It is located in a quiet and nice surrounding. You can reach a beautiful beach within approx. 10 minutes walking distance, calm and inviting to snorkel a bit. Therefore the accommodation also offers some beach gear like chairs, towels and umbrella. Doug & Diana were very lovely hosts, always good to reach and very helpful.

The grounds are very well kept and the pool was amazing! Kitchen was well stocked with items for cooking and the beds were very comfortable. I would stay here again.

We had a fantastic time during our stay here! A few of the things we liked: The view cannot be beat. Sitting on the balcony, watching the ocean, and sipping coffee or eating lunch was perfect. There's a little beach which is only accessed by the folks in the building. We often had it to ourselves. We went to a larger, public beach one day and it was so expensive to park there and the beach was so busy - we much preferred to stay at our airbnb! There were more amenities than specified in the listing! We found boogie boards, snorkeling gear, and sand castle buckets in the closet. The kids were thrilled! The building is super quiet. We never had noisy neighbors or trouble sleeping. Sea turtles are everywhere. They are constantly visible from the balcony and often swam within 15 - 20 feet of the kids playing in the surf. We also caught glimpses of whales every other day. What a delight! I completely recommend this airbnb - truly a lovely vacation home!

We booked an entire week at Jenny’s place. Check-in was easy and there was ample parking. It was exactly as the pictures showed with great views of the ocean and beach from high atop the 4th floor. The unit had AC for the warm days but we absolutely loved the cool breeze that would carry straight through the unit with the front window shades opened. Sands of Kahana was a beautiful property with beach access, grills to use, a large pool and a really nice restaurant/bar that was reasonably priced. We enjoyed our morning walks to nearby Hawaiian Village Coffee to grab a drink and a light pastry. Other amenities nearby include snorkel shops, a sushi restaurant, general store and cafe. We really enjoyed and made use of the beach chairs and umbrella as we swam at nearby Kapalua Beach and Kaanapali Black Rock. Jenny was so friendly and responsive with her emails outlining all you needed to know about the property and surrounding area. We highly recommend this property and will be back!

The condo was incredible and immediately felt like home! There were no issues and appreciated the hosts quick responses to questions. The area was easy to navigate and the hosts gave many great and local recommendations. This location is great to immerse yourself to both local and resort communities. Friendly neighbors and peaceful building. A/C and in-unit dryer and washer was a HUGE bonus to this incredible deal of a stay! Definitely coming back to this condo!

The condo has a really lovely setting right in front of the ocean. It is comfortable and clean but a little dated (and at points no AC was a little uncomfortable). Basics provided which was very useful plus helpful recommendations. We hired snorkels and the beach right by the condo proved our best snorkeling spot to see / swim with turtles which was amazing. Very peaceful area which we appreciated and you’re a 10/20 min walk to a few amenities.

Great place, very clean and had everything you would need. The view from the patio is way better in person. The beach is small, but you will have it to yourself! The pool and grassy hang out area was very peaceful. Staff at this condo community does a great job of keeping everything spotlessly clean and nothing was out of place. There is a convenient grocery store close by and a spacious grilling area to use. The condo itself was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The host was great and communicated very well. Only downside is the location was out of the way of where we spent most of our time when out and about.
