The Private Toho-Tel Suite in Ponderosa Pines

This charming home has a cabin-inspired decor where wooden floors and fixtures add a natural ambiance. Sit out on the comfortable private deck and turn on the record player while enjoying the large board game collection by the fireplace. Mornings, wake up to freshly ground, locally-sourced Matador Coffee with a whole line of brewing options for a coffee lover's delight. Evenings, unwind in the hot tub set amongst the soaring pines. Cozy-up around the gas fire pit or grill food and relax in the hammock on the well-lit paver patio. We've tried to think of everything and anything our guests may need, whether you are staying the night, or for the month! We've remodeled our private space to cater to your needs, and put a modern spin on it. Our goal is to create an environment where all can feel welcome and at home. We've repurposed quality items that we've found locally, here in Flagstaff. We are proud supporters of our local businesses and use "green" cleaning when our guests depart. Guests can utilize the full kitchen which includes a full sized refrigerator, dishwasher, oven, gas-stove, and cooking utensils, all within the unit. Our record player is yours to use, just don't judge our lack of a collection, we are working on it! The record player plays through our bluetooth-ready JBL speaker. You are welcome to detach the speaker from its charger and the record player input and use it as a bluetooth speaker for your own personal music! We are big fans of music, and we want to make sure you are able to hook up your device to add some light tunes to the room. Again, just mind the noise level as we do have other guests in our home. We also have a large collection of board games available to our guests. We happen to be big board game enthusiasts and love to share the enjoyment of board games with anybody willing to play! But, we just ask our guests to take care of the games for others to play. During your stay at the Toho-tel, you'll have access to a private deck, exclusive to our guests. You'll also have private access to your own bedroom with a queen bed, a fully equipped kitchen, a full and spacious bathroom, as well as a living area equipped with a 40" Samsung TV w/ full cable channels and a comfortable queen sleeper sofa (which has gained praise from many of our guests on its high level of comfort). Our interaction with guests is dependent on what the guests desire. We are available for any recommendations, however, we will most likely stay out of the way for privacy. You are welcome to reach out to us for suggestions on any local spots to check out (including Sedona), or fun activities in the area. You may also find many of the suggestions we may recommend already in our welcome packet. The neighborhood is in a heavily forested part of Flagstaff surrounded by beautiful pines and nature. Go for a picturesque hike through the many trails nearby, sample the local dining in town, and take the interstate to the visit Grand Canyon and Sedona. There is no public transit that reaches to the Kachina Village area, unfortunately. Uber can do trips out to the area if desired. This is our home, as well as home for others staying with us. We ask everyone to be respectful of each other and mind their noise levels.
