Amazing view! Will definitely be coming back here:)

This was definitely a 5 star stay. I’ve stayed at plenty of nice Airbnbs and I think this was my favorite. It’s very easy, in a good location, very safe and extremely clean. Usually you can expect some sand on the ground or on the furniture at a beach stay even after it’s been cleaned, but not here. The entire place was spotless. The hosts were very responsive and kind. The beach is right out front and great for snorkeling and sea turtles. However, the best part was definitely the stunning view. The pictures online don’t do it justice. It’s beautiful. We laid in bed every day listening to the waves and watching the sunset. We woke up to the sunrise each morning. We also spent a good bit of time, especially in the morning, just watching the water. Every time we looked out the lanai we saw at least 3-4 sea turtles and one morning we even saw a sea lion swimming next to the shore. We never turned on the TV. I cannot recommend this stay enough. It’s easily worth the money.

Hawaii Life thought of everything. The condo was spotless. The views and lanai made it worth every penny. The host was always available to answer questions, even helping me to remove fabric stains and helping with business paperwork. This was above and beyond. The amenities were superb but the personal touch with food and activities recommendations, nice beach chairs, wagon, coolers, sunscreen, shampoo, coffee maker, keurig, and espresso machines made things seem like at home. We didn’t need to purchase a lot of extras just to throw away after 8 days. We love to travel and I would by far say this is the best place we have stayed. Not only the location and cleanliness but the personal touch in every detail! We will be telling our friends about this location.

We found the unit to be ideal for our trip. It was in a beautiful building on a nice beach, near a fantastic bar/restaurant that was right across the street, in a a safe, quiet neighborhood. There was wonderful Hawaiian music softly playing in the lobby at all times! Such a great thing! Parking was close and free and easy! Our unit's view was amazing. It is a corner unit and quite large. It was beautifully decorated. The Smart Tv was wonderful with all our apps already loaded.

The view is stunning, it's even prettier than the pictures! I liked so many things about staying here, my favorite, of course is the beautiful beach right in front of the condo. You can walk down the stairs and get right into the water. In the morning at low tide, the water is gentle and you can just float on a raft. In the afternoon, there's gentle waves, and you can see so many sea turtles. They swim right by you. At the top of the stairs, there's a freshwater shower so you can rinse off .The condo complex is very quiet and serene, and we enjoyed sitting on the patio in the mornings and watching the sunset in the evenings. We walked to restaurants in the area. I was really impressed with Marcie's response time if we had a question or needed anything she would respond very quickly. We to go back someday.🩷

Kalea’s was alway available to answer questions very quickly. The condo was very well taken care of and had everything we needed. Loved the location and area much different than Kanapali as it’s much closer to other areas of the Island to explore. The lights and fan can be tricky at times but remember your own Hawaiian time. Mahalo

Pictures are exactly as is. Honua Kai is a great place for the family. This home met all our needs for our small family. We were already familiar with Kaanapali and this is a convenient location. The resort is big. Only suggestion would be a resort map (*I found via google) and a simple floor map to locate the elevators and garbage/recycle room. Not a big deal though; got familiar within 2 days of walking around. Thank you!

Great place to spend a week. Everything needed from restaurants, grocery, shopping and activities are close. Have stayed in the location. before, although in a different room, and the location is great. Easy access to beach, pool and amenities. Would definitely book with Bob again.

The perfect spot to stay for an adventure filled Maui vacation. It is centrally located on the island where there are multiple food trucks, restaurants, and a grocery store in walking distance. The place is at an intersection of 2 somewhat busy streets but the street traffic was not heard inside. The apartment owner has a big map of Maui hanging up with about 20 suggested locations to visit which we found to be very useful as we did a 5-day self-guided tour of the island. I would stay here again for future Maui vacations.

Misti was a wonderful host. Very responsive to any questions or queries we had. Great location with many amenities and restaurants within a short walking distance. And the King bed was quite comfortable and greatly appreciated. Most 1 bd/1ba condos on Maui utilize a queen size bed for some reason. Would book again anytime

Beautiful place and area. Right on the beach, which was amazing. Lots of towels, no need to bring your own shampoo, etc. as those are provided. Well stocked kitchen too. Beach chairs, etc. were also provided. Great trip! We will be back!

this is the best Airbnb on the island! amazing neighborhood close to everything! it felt safe and had a hometown feel. everyone was so friendly. the place itself had everything we needed and the view was incredible! much better than the picture! when our host realized we didn't have beach towels he made sure some were delivered and we were thrilled to come back and see like 6 brand new thick beach towels!! having the washer and dryer in the unit made things so easy too! can't say enough great things about this place and the hosts ! we will be booking here for our next trip! 10/10 recommend!

Gary's place is beautiful! The description on the listing does not do it justice. The Nanea is a dream resort with everything you need. I would stay here again, without hesitation.

This place is an absolute oasis. The freedom to walk a mere few steps directly into the Pacific Ocean was bliss. It wasn't cheap, but it was worth every dollar and I definitely intend to return some day. Highly recommend.

We stayed from June 5-12 and saw soooo many sea turtles from the lanai. Not sure if you can see them year round or just during this time, but it was a real highlight for us! We loved the 5th floor view, both rooms are very comfortable and accommodated two couples well. They have three AC units in the apartment that made it comfortable to sleep at night without getting too hot. The complex has a heated pool that is open until 9PM and scarcely used by others during our visit. They also had beach essentials like folding chairs, a cooler, umbrella, and towels that made our beach trips luxurious! We will definitely look to rent this place again for our future trips to Maui!

Beautiful location right on the ocean. Gorgeous sunset views from the patio and beach. Sea turtles swimming near by. Beautifully maintained grounds and friendly, professional staff. AC unit the living room cooled off well for comfortable sleeping. Both beds are comfortable.

This place was exactly as described, with all the amenities listed. The front desk people were very friendly. Helen is a very responsive and helpful host.

We loved it there! Such a great location, short walk through the golf course to restaurants and resorts. Golf cart service to the beach. Cabana access. The pool was amazing actually with great toddler areas. The condo was spotless and had plenty of nice touches!

Our stay at the Mahana unit was absolutely incredible! The location was exactly as depicted in the pictures; it was serene, easy to locate, spotless, and had clear instructions. The room was fantastic, and the views from the lanai were simply breathtaking! We could spot the turtles right from our own lanai. It was a lovely touch to have binoculars provided!

We had an excellent stay! This unit is tastefully updated and comfortable. The view from the balcony is nothing short of amazing. We saw numerous whales both while eating breakfast and having happy hour before dinner! The location is convenient, close to a grocery store and other restaurants within walking distance. We would definitely stay again on our next trip to Maui!

This very well maintained condo is in an excellent location in a resort with very good and attractive facilities. It is especially attractive for those that prefer a quieter, more relaxed atmosphere. There is much less competition for use of the great amenities than neighboring mega-resorts. Beach access is great, and the beachfront is the same size as resorts with many times the population. Additionally, there is access to the Kaanapali boardwalk that serves 5 other resorts’ beachfront restaurants and bars, and a 6th by a separate sidewalk.

Wonderful Condo. Gorgeous views, exceptional location and extra gracious hosts. They did everything to make is feel welcome including coffee and a generous amount of supplies. The location is truly extraordinary and the hosts could not have been kinder. We'd love to return!!
