The 17th Century Manor House

Set in the picturesque village of Villechien within easy reach of the market towns of Mortain and Saint Hilaire Du Harcouet. This charming Manoir was built in 1743 and has been sympathetically renovated, still retaining many of the original features. The charming accommodation is available for bookings up to 4 people. Moulin de Babel, large gîte at the edge of the woods

Set in a 4 hectare property, in the heart of a small wooded valley that is home to all kinds of wildlife, and opposite a pond of over 5,000m2, this gîte is perfect for getting together with family or friends in a soothing setting, lulled by the flow of the nearby stream. Bikes can be hired on site, making it possible to get to Mont Saint Michel in 1 hour via the Couesnon marshes. And in cooler weather, by a roaring log fire, you can enjoy 50 board games for all ages.

Our old bakery is part of our farmhouse. On the ground floor, there is a fully equipped kitchen and a shower room with toilet. Upstairs, an attic bedroom has 3 independent beds. Outside, our guests have access to a private terrace with garden furniture. Free Wi-Fi. Breakfast (farmhouse bread, jam) is available on request for 5 euros per person. Close to the greenway, walkers will appreciate this stop.
