Magic Island: Cottage & Beach Sauna on Your Own Island

Welcome to experience of the unique Taikasaari, located in Väärinjärvi, Ruovesi! The island's cottage and beach sauna were built in the 1950s and renovated with modern amenities. The entire 2000 m² island is for your private use, without any visual contact with other cottages or houses. The cottage has electricity, but no running water. The wood sauna has carrying water and a water pot for heating the water. The sauna terrace has direct access to the lake. The toilet is an outdoor toilet. Please note that the property is not suitable for small children.

Peace and nature in a cottage by a lake

Saunacottage on lake Parannesjärvi in Virrat, 300km north of Helsinki. 30m2 log-house, built in 2005 with 100m of own shoreline. Owners live on same 1,4ha property, 70m away. In the livingroom/kitchen of the cottage you find a double sofa-bed with extra matress for 2 persons. Separate toilet and wood-heated sauna with shower. 10m2 terrace with furniture and lake view. Fully equipped kitchen, gas-barbecue, rowing-boat, Wi-Fi. Very nice, quiet and cosy place for a couple to spend a holiday.

Lovely apartment by the lake

Stay in my personal slightly '70s spiritual two-bedroom apartment with wood sauna, near the center of Orivesi. The yard has its own beach and dock, and the adjacent beach in the winter also the city's open-air swimming spot. Specialty is the outdoor fireplace where you can warm up by the fire in cooler weather. There's room for up to 6 people. I live in an apartment with my children every other week, every other week the apartment is empty and the option to rent to you :).

Villa Mylly in Näsijärvi

At Villa Mylly you will stay in a peaceful and stylish environment. Completed in 2024, the villa is located in the Paarlahti of Näsijärvi, just a 30-minute drive from the center of Tampere. You can also get next to it by bus. The villa has all the modern day amenities such as an indoor toilet and shower. Accommodates 4 adults and 1 child. The beach sauna is available for an additional fee (25€). The lot is in use in the summer time (from 1 May to 30 September).

The apartment is well suited for event guests, business travelers, and anyone who needs cozy accommodation in a quiet environment. A private entrance and parking make it easy to operate. The apartment is only about a 10-minute walk from Tampere Exhibition and Sports Centre. Buses 30 and 32 to Tampere city centre pass by, and the journey time is approx. 15 min.
