Magic Island: Cabin & Beach Sauna on Your Own Island

Welcome to experience of the unique Taikasaari, located in Väärinjärvi, Ruovesi! The island's cottage and beach sauna were built in the 1950s and renovated with modern amenities. The entire 2000 m² island is for your private use, without any visual contact with other cottages or houses. The cottage has electricity, but no running water. The wood sauna has carrying water and a water pot for heating the water. The sauna terrace has direct access to the lake. The toilet is an outdoor toilet. Please note that the property is not suitable for small children.

Traditional cottage in Näsijärvi

This cozy cabin is by Lake Näsijärvi. The cabin has electricity and running water. The sauna’s water tank heats up washing water in the traditional way—so there is no shower. Water is shallow at the cottage but totally suitable for swimming. An outhouse is about 15 meters from the cabin. The lake is 10 meters from the porch. Parking next to the cabin. A rowing boat and two SUP boards are available. The town of Virrat is 16 km away, and the nearest grocery store, K-Market Visuvesi, is 5 km away.

Relax in the Holiday Lake by the lake in the peaceful village of Kotala, near the city of Virta. The cottage has its own electric sauna. Please note that the host lives in the same yard. On the beach, a beach sauna, a paddle board and a boat are available for shared use with the host during the summer. The beach sauna is not available in winter. Please note that linens are not included. Possibility to rent linens for €10/person. Possibility to do laundry with the host 5€ per load of laundry.

In the livingroom/kitchen of the cottage you find a double sofa-bed with extra matress for 2 persons. Separate toilet and wood-heated sauna with shower. 10m2 terrace with furniture and lake view. Fully equipped kitchen, gas-barbecue, rowing-boat, Wi-Fi. Very nice, quiet and cosy place for a couple to spend a holiday.

The apartment has a kitchenette, mh, toilet-shower-sauna. Cooking facilities (dishes in use), coffee maker, microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge-freezer. Coffee, tea, sugar and salt are available :) Bed linen included. In the bedroom, only a 160 cm wide bed. A sofa that can be spread out in the living room. For families with children, there is a high chair, a travel bed, a potty and a children's bathtub. Heating / cooling with air heat pump. Tablet TV WiFi/fixed fiber connection included.

Beautiful 2019 renovated cottage and wood-burning sauna with great steam. The property is beautifully located on the shore of a lake in Karhe, Ylöjärvi, about 30 minutes from Tampere. Sleeps four. Plus one mattress. Well-equipped kitchen. Drinkable and hot water. Electricity. TVx2. Air source heat pump. Gas grill on the terrace. Rowing boat available. The beach is not a fork, but you can comfortably swim from the dock. Pets are not allowed at this property.

In the yard, there is a traditional yard sauna and a small sauna room, where 2 people can sleep. The cottage sleeps 4 people. In the spring of 2024, a summer kitchen will be completed at the end of the cottage, where you can dine and do the dishes, etc.

Rooms for rent in an old school building next to the lake. Classy, homey rooms with high ceilings (4m) and a lot of light coming in. In summertime it's also possible to sleep in a yurt (Mongol tent) on the yard. You can use the old log house sauna and swim in the lake. Kayaks and a row boat available. The destination is great for all kind of groups and people.
