I really enjoyed my time here in this Van. Dartington Estate where it is located is stunning and a great place to be with amazing walks all around, and very close to Totnes. The van was clean, comfortable and had all I needed, and Jonny was super helpful if i ever needed anything.

What a magical place! We stayed with our 8 year old boy and had a wonderful stay. Rachel is very welcoming and has set the place up with of lots of thoughtful touches. The garden is beautiful, close to Ringwood for shops and eating out, and a great base for exploring the New Forest.

We spent a lovely few days on the Jurassic Bus. It is a magical setting, the bus is so much fun to stay on - we’ll definitely be coming back. Judith and her family were so warm and welcoming. Thank you so much for having us!

We have been quite lucky to have experienced a lot of different airbnbs around the world but there is only one our girls still talk about every single week, and that's the Big Hoot. A rare and genuinely magical place, looked after with care and creativity.

Anne and Jonathan have created something very special and are such gracious and attentive hosts! We spent a blissful long weekend enjoying the incredible meadowland and peaceful surroundings. We were two families of 4, and we had 2 acres of land, including two small lakes which you could kayak and row on, completely to ourselves. There was an amazing treehouse with dress up and the children (between the ages of 2-8) had an absolute blast. Even with the odd rain shower or two there were plenty of places to shelter, including a purpose built barn with a cosy wood stove. Everything you could possibly need for a relaxing stay is provided, even fun outdoor games and toys for the children. It was also great to have the option for the non- tent campers to decamp to the cosy caravan when the weather made tent camping a bit of a trial, and even to rent a room in the house nearby. Honestly, we would highly recommend booking this gem of a place! You won’t regret it!

Lovely quirky little cabin. Everything you need for a stay away, cooking facilities and a bit like glamping, a chem toilet right outside and a ‘proper’ toilet and shower a short walk (100m). The location is so peaceful, feeling secluded and private. Great for me and my dog. Secure patio/garden. It is self check-in, but the host, Bridget, was friendly and checked to see if everything was ok. A really nice touch was swapping the complementary wine for a 0% beer, as I’d said I was on a health kick and doing a tough run in the morning. The surrounding countryside is amazing and lovely walks from the cabin. Highly recommended.

We had a truly wonderful time at Andrew’s place - it felt both completely private and incredibly safe. As a single mother, that sense of security is one of the things I value most, and this spot absolutely delivered. The views were breathtaking, and just being there helped me properly unwind and detox from the pace of city life. Andrew was so welcoming.. he kindly carried all our things down and gave us a helpful tour of how everything worked. After that, we were left to enjoy the space in peace, which was exactly what we want. We had some amazing BBQs, played games, shared lovely dinners and drinks, and my dog loved it. Staying in the tent was such a fun and unique experience, and the bed was comfy, beautifully soft linen that made it feel extra special. Thank you so much, Andrew, for having us. I hadn't been looking for a break but a chance Google search of the area, which I know well, found me Louise's place and I was hooked! There is so much to do - you can walk to the beach - it's a stony, fossil kind of beach but I always went in the car, parking at nearby East Quantock head (little car park by the church). Steart Marshes is close by too and lots of lovely villages. The caravan has been lovingly refurbished and nestles in a little wood overlooking a valley. You can cook outside but there is also a hob with two plates and a microwave inside, if all else (or the weather!) fails. The hot tub is a joy - I made an evening out of getting it warm so I'd definitely recommend lighting gel to hurry the fire along! Louise is a lovely human and has a heart of gold. She made me feel very welcome and as a solo traveller I felt very safe.

Josh’s place is probably the best airbnb that we’ve been too.. even my 4 year old thinks its the best part of our holiday. Josh has been an absplute favorite with the kids too after he’s let them ride his tractor. (Luggages need to be transported with Josh’s tractor from the parking to the property as its a bit of a walk if not, he even helped us with loading it back). Everything youll need is there and even though there are 5 accomodations in the field, you have enough privacy for each. Roselyn the bus did not disappoint with comfort. Having lived in London for the last 10 years, it was surreal to sleep in a bus 🤣. Its spotless (as if its never been used before even though we know its such a busy accomodation). Honesty shop was a good concept too. There were wnough blankets to keep us cozy on the chilly outdood nights and the kitchen is fully equipped. The alpacas also made for a good experience for pur 3 kids. Its also plenty fo space for 8 people 👏🏼. Overall, cant recommend more!

Completely agree with all the other reviews. We were attending a friend’s engagement party nearby so didn’t get to hang out much which was a shame. It is a lovely little spot and the gardens are absolutely gorgeous.

My wife & I stayed at the Sheppards hut for the second time this year. Unfortunately the weather wasn't great but that didn't stop us from enjoying our stay. With comfortable outside seating & a brilliant fire pit we kept cozy in the rain just under the canopy. If you don't like small places, this is not for you but we loved it. The hut itself is kept very clean. Nothing can stop nature leave it's mark outside. James made sure there was plenty of fire wood & he will need to restock it after our weekend. I could suggest some improvement like a larger canopy to hide under but that's because we like being outside. By the way the outside shower is fantastic & it's not cold. I do suggest lighting the fire pit ready for when you come out. If you want to venture off, I recommend visiting Wimborne but there's no need if you like being in the woods with nature. I'm sure we'll stay again.

Our stay was pleasant and peaceful. Accommodation was as described and clean , separate fully equipped bathroom only for our use was a nice add on. Dani and Chris was always on the standby to help , yet not intruding our stay. Thank you Dani and Chris !!!

peaceful place to stay with so much space to run around, fly kites and play Frisbee. The compost toilet was a challenge to some, but we soon got the hang of it!! the swallow nest with two babies who fledged while we were there was the highlight, and the open air shower and bath was also a winner. thankyou for sharing the quirky caravans with us.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay in the horsebox and cannot wait to come back. It was so lovely to have the field to ourselves, a beautiful wildflower meadow with nothing but gorgeous views surrounding us. We had lots to do this trip but would’ve been happy to stay in the field and relax! Horsebox was immaculate, clean, cosy and the beds were really comfortable. We really enjoyed it and Caro was absolutely wonderful

An excellent short break and the lovely caravan at Rockley Park. Super clean, well equipped and ideally located very close to all the amenities at the caravan site, which is much larger than we expected. Despite dreadful weather the second day of our break, the caravan was our retreat for most of the day and we felt right at home. Clear instructions and communication from Sally leading up to the stay and lots of information in the caravan to help you explore the wider area. A delightful stay and we would definitely return. 🙌
