Wonderful place in the woods! Primitive cottage -- that's the point -- with a luxury of silence and beauty around it. The cabin is warm, even when the surroundings are cold. Absolutely stunning scenery. We were there in April: singing ice, melting water, reindeer, birds, the nature in the process of waking during the snow. Lena is incredibly helpful and welcoming. We would love to go back!

The two of us spent two days in Nammatj and felt very comfortable from the beginning. We found the dining table with a view of the beautiful landscape particularly beautiful. The kitchen has everything you need. The stairs to the bedroom is a bit steep. It wasn't a problem at all for us. Pia and Robert were very friendly and responded quickly to our questions. It was two great days in Kvikkjokk.

We stayed 3 times at Anna Monica's Appartment which we used as our "basecamp" in between multiday hikes (Muddus, Aktse & Skierfe) and some sightseeing around Jokkmokk. The comfort of the accommodation and the hospitality of Anna Monica made this a nice experience. ps: we also enjoyed observing a red-throated loon on the lake!
