Holiday rentals with beach access in Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Pierce County

Great spot and memorable experience. We had fun by the beach front and roasting all through the night. Host was very kind and welcoming. There is WiFi available (which isn’t in the listing and cellular device does work!). Host was very responsive and answered quickly. She also had some cinnamon rolls for us and s’mores which was sweet of her. The hosts house is next to the property you stay in. The apartment/airbnb is located above a garage and has a nice balcony outlook towards the beach. It does give the illusion of being in a tree house. Overall location and beach front was such a nice and relaxing experience.

We had a great stay, Aaron was very responsive and friendly, the place was just as described very peaceful and wonderful views. Definitely recommend it.

Serene, beautiful and quiet overlooking a beautiful inlet. Sitting in a heavily wooded section on Fox Island, this is an oasis for eliminating the chaos of urban life.

This is my second review for Kristen since we extended our stay by a few weeks. Kristen as a host and person is just wonderful. Her home is stellar. The location can’t be beat. She even helped me spot mating bald eagles building a new nest. This place ended up being our home for 5 weeks, and we were so comfortable. Thank you, Kristen!

This place was perfect. Close to the water. Peaceful with beautiful views. Close to Gig Harbor that has many cute stores, restaurants, and breweries. We would stay again!

The place is in a beautiful neighborhood and restaurants with a view of the water are nearby. We loved the comfort and decor of the place as well. The hosts are very sweet and communicative. I didn’t use the tub or sauna but the shower was great!

This is a wonderful cosy and serene location at the water. Linda is a fantastic host that makes you feel welcome from the first moment. Sitting at the water overlooking the water with the mountains on the background is amazing!

This place was fantastic! Danica and Phillip have truly gone the extra mile to ensure their guests feel comfortable and I absolutely adored all of the little touches like the robes, slippers, breakfast, wine and fireplace.

Beautiful views and comfortable home. it was just the two of us, so we only used the one bed, but it was comfortable for us (both with back issues), and having views out to the water from bed was very nice. Host was communicative and helped ensure questions were answered prior to booking, as well as during the stay. The office near the entrance to the home was perfect for me working from the home during our stay while my wife was in the office in Lacey. We would love to come stay again in better weather to get to go out on the deck and perhaps also do a little playing in the kayaks.

Perfect location! This home had lots of private bedrooms making our gathering so easy to do! And you just can’t get enough of the view!

Absolutely beautiful views from this waterfront home. Plenty of room for our family of 5 plus Nana to spread out enjoying indoor/outdoor living. Well appointed including fun water toys ie paddle boards and kayaks. My husband commented this home being the best Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in. Excellent communication from Mike and Eva. Definitely would stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay here. Everything is as described in the photos and descriptions. What we didn’t expect was the peace and tranquility provided by being on Stretch Island by a state park, far away from any major roads or disturbances. We were a group of 6, and felt comfortable at Emily’s home. We’re looking forward to our next trip back!

We loved our stay in Belfair. The view of the water and mountains is outstanding. The bedroom situation worked out well for us. The driveway is what I would consider very challenging to pull out safely. It’s not for the faint of heart. That being said, I would still stay there again, especially since I know to just roll down my windows and listen for traffic. Lovely home lovely view

Second time staying at Starr’s place and we are already planning a third trip! Peaceful, detoxing environment with a bonus of being right on the brach. We absolutely 💯 enjoy staying at this place.

Great home with a beautiful view! Best part about waking up in the morning is seeing the water out the big sun deck windows. Host is very responsive and helpful. Home has lots of amenities. The fire pit is fun to use both during the day and night. No mosquitos too! (End of April) Pet friendly too, our little dog loved the house and backyard. Area feels very safe. Don't bother waving at the neighbors though, they're not very friendly. Lovely, tranquil stay. Shelton and Belfair are close enough for good food. Lots of State Parks nearby. Will definitely want to come back next time!
