Cabin holiday rentals in Jenks Lake

We were in town for a wedding at the Shay Meadow Ranch and Resort. This was just far enough to be peaceful and quiet, but also close enough to walk the distance in ten minutes. The cabin feels big and our younger guests loved the video game console. There is a nice hot tub. When I saw the Puffs Plus tissue I knew, these guys are all about high quality. Went to get a knife and cutting board, again, high quality! Big fridge. Plenty of seating and a nice breakfast nook area. While I do enjoy wood fires, I also enjoyed not having to deal with ashes with the gas - easy on, easy off - fireplace. The main bathroom is huge and the master bathroom with a shower was great for us guys - the girls took over the main bathroom. Overall this is a great cabin for families, friends or a nice time with your significant other.

Michelle’s home was on point! Everything was pristine. Michelle was also very responsive with any questions we had. It was a pleasure to stay here! Highly recommend

Exactly as advertised, the cabin was very comfortable and had all of the amenities you could ever need for a short stay. The kitchen was top notch, excellent gas stove and oven made cooking easy. The shower/tub combo was unique, but may be a bit challenging to older guests. The bedrooms had great mattresses, pillows, and linens. Outside, the hot tub was exactly what was needed at the end of a long day. Leanne was always prompt responding to any questions.

This cabin was super cozy. An awesome place to get away from LA. Would totally recommend.

We had such a beautiful stay! Kaitlyn is super responsive and a thoughtful host. The home is thoughtfully decorated, the beds were super comfortable, and the view was peaceful and serene. The location was perfect — close enough to everything we needed, but tucked away just enough to feel like a true escape from our typical LA hustle. We especially loved grilling dinner and relaxing in the hot tub under the stars. A perfect weekend getaway spot!

We had a peaceful and cozy stay at this cabin in Big Bear. The space was well-stocked with the basic amenities and even a few extras, and we really appreciated the clear and thoughtful instructions provided by the host. It made everything easy and stress-free. One thing to note: the walkway up to the cabin is definitely a workout. It's a bit of a climb, so I wouldn't recommend it for small children or elderly guests, especially if you're bringing a lot of stuff. Thankfully, we packed light and managed just fine. As with any mountain retreat, you should be okay with a few critters. We found a couple of bees inside when we arrived, but Dena had some tape available to help trap them. There were also spider webs on the outdoor furniture, so be sure to check before sitting down. On our last morning, we noticed quite a few ants in the shower…but again, it's the mountains, and that kind of comes with the territory. Overall we had a great time and it’s a beautiful location!

great little cabin right up against the tree-line to the San Bernardino National forest. great cabin for a small family. provided a lot of peace and quiet. the cabin is well cared for and the instructions for maintaining it were clear and reasonable. all of the amenities are well cared for and in perfect working order. very friendly and responsive hosts.

My wife and I wanted a quick get-away where we can soak in a tub and indulge while taking in some peaceful scenery, and this was exactly what we were looking for. Check in was quick and easy and just as the instructions described. Getting into the unit was easy as well and the double sliding doors was absolutely amazing to have for the view. Pots, pans and mostly everything you’d need to run a kitchen is available. Macayla and Jon provided local coffee and wine along with a list of local restaurants, great surprise that we weren’t expecting but follows the theme of the unit as well. Great attention to detail and has everything you need. Perfect stay for us with nothing but positive things to say. My wife and I discussed it and we’ll absolutely be back. 10/10

Brandon and Valerie were very responsive and accommodating. Great recommendations and very clear instructions on how to get in and what was expected. The cabin is cozy and perfect for a couple with a pup. The fire pit was nice at night and our dog loved the backyard!

This was a great place to stay in big bear. It wasn’t too far from the town and only a 10 minute drive to Snow Summit where we had our race. For 7 people, it might be kind of small with only 1 shower, but we made it work. It was nice and cozy. The heater was good and the water was nice and hot. I liked how there was a chess board outside which was really cool. Note: When we arrived, the place wasn’t cleaned up. We notified our host immediately and she got back to us with a solution that resolved our issues. The cleaning lady came by and cleaned it up well, our host gave us a partial refund with the cleaning fee, and an extra night stay which helped us after our race.

If you want an escape the Owls Nest is the best place to run away to! From the moment you walk through the door you feel like you are home. The cozy A Frame cabin is filled with warm light and the scent of the wood truly makes you feel very welcomed. The home really had everything we needed and was very comfortable. We loved that though we felt we were deep in the mountains everything really was just a quick 5 drive away. Our hosts were super kind and friendly and quick to reach out if I had any questions. If you do stay here I really recommend a night time dip in the hot tub as you look up at the stars.

We had an amazing stay and would highly recommended. This place is located in a great location near restaurants, shopping village, activities to do, hiking trails, and the beautiful lake. It is equipped with all the necessities and more! The fun board games, outdoor fun in the backyard, and the jacuzzi made it spectacular and enjoyable stay for my family and I. Joyce is an amazing host, very communicative and welcoming. Would definitely stay here again 🙂

Quiet location. VERY close to hiking trails. Fully fenced in yard made it desirable to bring our pup and keep him safely contained. Clean, relaxing, peaceful. House has great outdoor space with grill, fire pit, hammock, table, enclosed front deck (great in afternoon) and lots of trees on property. Felt very private and safe even though there are houses on adjacent lots. Dena was very proactive with instructions and thought of everything to make you feel at home (including iPhone chargers next to bed). I did not need to reach out at all during stay but have no doubt Dena would respond quickly to remedy any unforeseen issues. Hope to come back and enjoy the space and Big Bear again soon! The cabin is perfect for going with pets, the patio is very spacious and with many trees, the dogs enjoyed it a lot at all times, at night you enjoy the silence, the cabin has everything you need to cook, I definitely want to go back in winter.

Amy is a fantastic host! This small home was perfect to come back to after a day exploring Big Bear. It was cozy, clean, and Amy provided everything we needed for a weekend stay.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 10/10 Stay! The house in Big Bear was incredibly cozy and well-kept. We especially loved the DVD player and the great selection of movies—it was such a fun touch! The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, perfect for relaxing. The host was extremely responsive and helpful throughout our stay. The back porch was beautifully shaded and maintained, and the front porch had two charming chairs that were perfect for morning coffee. All in all, a fantastic experience—10 out of 10!

I had an amazing time at Ben's cabin! It was very quiet and nestled in the woods. It had all the amenities of home and a great place to come back to after going out to town and doing activities around the lake. There was so much room to spread out and the couches and beds were extremely comfortable, which made decompressing easy. I would definitely stay again.

Absolutely loved our stay here. Super clean, very well-kept, cute and had everything we needed. The modern A-Frame cabin was an experience and beautiful! Great peaceful getaway and i particularly loved hearing the wind chimes, birds chirping during my nap. The hosts are so sweet, attentive and thorough with very fast responses.
