Detached Guesthouse in McDonough

The guesthouse is a studio barndominium located on our 15 acre property, with dedicated parking and private entrance away from our primary house. Surrounded by woods and nature, you'll enjoy peaceful, quiet nights listening to soothing sounds of wildlife. Located halfway between the historic town squares of McDonough and Covington. Close to Jackson Lake. We are 35 miles to Atlanta. Wifi is provided, but we are rural so it can be patchy. Limited to 2 total guests-including infants/children.

The Guest House

The Guest House is a primitive cottage and resides on 400 acres outside of Barnesville, Georgia. Bunn Ranch is a working cattle and sheep farm. This space is a two story primitive cottage with primitive artwork and a claw foot tub. Sit in your choice of antique rockers that have been collected over the years. The floors and stairs were salvaged from an old home that was here on the farm. Surrounded by rolling hills and close to town, come enjoy some time for YOU! We will consider STR students.

Enjoy renting the tree-cabin and having access to our private 20 acre lake with your own private dock. Our lake has bass, crappie, catfish, and yellow perch. Come throw your line in and enjoy a few days of fishing. You also have access to our john boat, canoes, and paddle boats to venture forth on our lake.
