Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Jefferson County

Lovely spot by the river for a quiet weekend out of the city. Our dogs loved the fenced in yard, we loved watching the river roll by for a couple of days. The house had everything you could want for a great stay, from lawn chairs and decent internet to cooking basics and even kits for smores. We would definitely love to come back later in the summer when the river's a bit warmer!

This home was in a beautiful location. we enjoyed the home and felt very comfortable there. Krina did allow us to check in a couple of hours early which made the logistics of our stay much easier for us. we definitely would stay there again on our next visit. Robert Spencer

We were a large group of 7 adults and 1 child, and this was the perfect Airbnb for us! Another part of our group was staying with their RV at the KOA so the location was fantastic since we could very easily walk between the Airbnb and RV. It was also great to enjoy the KOA activities and spaces. You could even walk to the national park if you enjoy walking! The house is very spacious, and it was a great space for hanging out whether in the the dining room, living room, or outside. The Airbnb was very well equipped and comfortable. We would definitely recommend staying here, especially if you have a large group or part of you group is staying at KOA.

We loved Claudine’s home. We live in an old home ourselves and know that old homes are such a labor of love and it’s obvious Claudine takes great pride in her home. Claudine was an excellent host, she also provided us with updates as a big storm was coming in. The home was very close to the historical district, and Shepherd University. There was a lot of space for our family to spread out in. We will definitely be back. Thank you Claudine!

What a great location! Such a unique and historic building, filled with historic artifacts. Location could not be better, next door to the battleground coffee (the only place open at 8am on a winter morning), right above the rabbit hole (super tasty and heated pods in winter are fun and private) and a great view of the train station and beyond.

Beautiful location. I think it's amazing kayaks are provided, (wish we had stayed during summer months for that!) along with fishing gear. Games were fun with the kids, and the patio furniture and beds are comfortable.

Kim and Jonathan were kind and responsive. Their place is lovely and has the nicest and softest linens I've ever used! Every bed was cozy and super soft. The backyard is great for a fire or letting the kids or pups run without worrying about anyone escaping. The hot tub was a lovely touch and clean/ready to use! The only downsides were pots and pans that were difficult to use if you're used to nonstick, and being a bit far away from restaurants and activities (plan about 15-20 mins of curvy road driving get to get just about anywhere. We had a great couple days and enjoyed our time both in the home and out-and-about Harper's Ferry.

This house is amazing! It has everything you need, Tom is incredibly helpful, check in was a breeze and the setting is peaceful. We commuted from the house to Winchester each day and it was only about 25 mins. Beds are comfortable and the gift basket they prepared was incredibly thoughtful. Will be looking for this place to book whenever we are in the area!

The lower level private entrance apartment was very nice with all new furnishings, comfortable bed and sofa, smart TV, plenty of books and games. The kitchen was well appointed with high end small appliances ( microwave oven, toaster oven, single pan cooktop, Ninja coffee maker and an under the counter with complimentary goodies ( sweet muffins English Muffins, butter, cream cheese, Starbucks ground coffee and orange juice) and some small bag snacks (popcorn and chips). The bathroom was very nice with plenty of towels and complimentary shampoo and conditioner. Judy was a very gracious and friendly host with quick responses to any questions or sought after recommendations. She gave us 4 wineries to try and we loved all 4 of them. You can’t go wrong with this Airbnb.

Cindy's place was AMAZING! She truly thought of everything. The location was beautiful and peaceful. The apartment was thoughtfully decorated with sweet little nooks to relax and enjoy the scenery. There was even a dog shower in the garage for the dogs when we got back from a muddy hike. I will definitely return!

The place was charming, well stocked and very comfortable. The communication was great and we would definitely rent again.

A friend & I stayed to cycle & hike Harper's Ferry & the Shepardstown area of the C&O. The placed checked all our important boxes..very clean, nice shower with hot water, very comfortable beds & furniture, very quiet, strong wifi. Download Google maps directions to get there as you might loose your cell connection. Same if you travel the area..download while on wifi at the house. When I saw the vintage GE electric stove with push button controls I though...wow will this thing work! Yes it works great! It heated up my hot water for tea & oatmeal faster than any modern stove! We had a great stay and will definitely stay again.

We were in town for a funeral so we didn’t require much. This place was perfect for our needs. It’s a cute space . The bed was super comfortable and the apartment was very clean. It is a small space. What you see in the pictures is exactly what you are getting so there are no surprises. For the most part it was fairly quiet considering it is in the city of Winchester. There are limited outlets so if you have multiple things you need to charge plan accordingly. I would definitely recommend and I would definitely stay here again.

I really appreciated this space. It was private and spacious. I loved the koi pond and truly felt right at home. I had everything I needed and if I didn’t the host was gracious enough to supply extra trash bags, dish soap etc. This apt was exactly what I needed for my three week stay.

Excellent stay in a nice part of town

This place is a true gem. My family of 4 loves to stay here. It was extremely clean and welcoming when we got here. It has lots to offer. Joe is extremely responsive and always ready to help! It is such a peaceful, cozy, beautiful, amazing place to stay! I didn’t want to leave!:)
