Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Jefferson County

This is our second time staying at one of Laura's properties and each time has been terrific! What you see is what you get... a large fully functioning home with easy check-in, nice amenities, responsive host and easy check out! My family and I had a great time, thank you Laura!

This home in Harper's Ferry was everything and more as described in the listing. We had plenty of room. The beds are roomy and comfortable. The bathrooms are spacious. I loved the polished cement floors as well as the eclectic artwork and decorations. We enjoyed mornings on the deck and our walks to visit Harper's Ferry.

Everyone enjoyed our stay here ! S’mores by the firepit, family games around the huge kitchen table and mornings rocking on the front porch rockers . We wished we could stay longer !!!

We had an amazing time at this beautiful riverfront home in Harpers Ferry! It was fully equipped with everything we needed for a perfect stay. The screened-in porch was our go-to spot for relaxing, and the hot tub was a highlight after long days of exploring. We also had so much fun with all the games provided—it made our group nights unforgettable. The house was clean, spacious, and very comfortable, with a peaceful location that let us truly unwind. A huge thank you to Morgan, who was super responsive and helpful throughout the entire process. She answered our messages quickly and gave us all the info we needed, making everything smooth and stress-free. Highly recommend this place for a group getaway. We’re already planning our return trip!

Laurie’s place is just stunning. My friends who joined me were amazed at the beautifully designed rooms and how cozy it felt. They are planning to stay with their families in the future. Laure was so helpful with communication, easy check in and a thorough guide to the home instructions, the history of her historic home and things to do around Purcellville. We loved every second! Could recommend Laurie and her gorgeous home more highly!

Tara and Shawn were great hosts! The place was comfy, they were easy to communicate with, and great of all, we got to hang out with their awesome goats and feed them snacks!

We had an excellent stay on our journey along the C&O canal. The owners were very responsive and accommodating to our larger group. Everything was pristinely clean and the bathroom/shower was luxurious. Very happy with our stay and big thanks to the homeowners!

Our second stay here. Just as good as the first. We met our family most every day (15 minutes away) and got to participate in their many activities, and yet have a quiet, clean, large space to retreat to. They were so flexible that we felt like family !

Ashley was very accommodating for our requests, quick communication, check in was easy and everything was just as described. Her Airbnb is very clean, beautifully decorated with wonderful views and peaceful surroundings. It was the perfect place for my family and I. It was so convenient to be able to rent both units and my family could be together, yet have enough space.

Excellent host. Very clean place, beautiful property. Laura was amazing. It was like staying with a good friend. We bought some of her eggs and delicious honey. We would definitely stay there again. My wife and I and our fur babies will miss Laura, Jerald, and Dasher.

Great stay! It was an awesome location and there was lots to do within walking distance. Also appreciated the food that was present for us on arrival. There was a small but very nice backyard where we were able to make a fire one night. Host was very informative and responsive. Would definitely stay again.

This cabin was exactly like the pictures and as described! We forgot that chickens are mentioned in the listing until we arrived and saw them, they were very cute. Kitchen is pretty stocked with whatever you need to have simple meals but there is no oven/stovetop so definitely plan ahead, but Trent provides some appliances like a toaster oven, waffle maker, and coffee maker. Overall we had a great stay!

We have stayed at Lesley’s properties before, and they never fail to impress! This was the perfect place to take our relaxing getaway. We did not explore Martinsburg too much, but instead used it as a midway point between Berkeley Springs and Harper’s Ferry. The bed was super cozy, I enjoyed playing the piano, and the tub is beautiful! We would definitely stay here again ☺️

Tammie’s place was lovely! My husband and I stayed there as our halfway point for our drive from Georgia to Maine, with a giant U-Haul (truck and trailer!) with us. Tammie was very accommodating with letting us park the truck on her property, and even met us to help us park it on the day we arrived. The view is stunning & the horses were also so pretty to see! Thanks for everything, Tammie!

Scott was an excellent and responsive host. His recommendations for activities in and around Harpers Ferry were second to none! His home was extremely clean, comfortable and matched the description perfectly. Check in and out could not have been easier. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our relaxing weekend and our three year old daughter didn’t want to leave! Could not recommend Scott’s place more!

River House – 5 Stars My husband and I stayed in the River House for 4 days. We totally enjoyed ourselves there. It was exactly what we were looking for, peace and quiet while gazing upon nature at its best. The house is very clean, neat and crisp with a touch of warmth everywhere. It has everything you could want for your stay, making it home-sweet-home. The house is nestled between trees and situated right on the bank of the Shenandoah’s running river. Enjoy the lush green forest across the river while drinking your morning coffee in the sunroom. You’ll see that this serene setting brings a daily refuge of birds nesting and hummingbirds feeding to the top deck. The sunroom is so cozy and inviting. It seems as if the house is on stilts sitting over the running river. The River House has two large decks, a patio and boats for your family’s enjoyment. We enjoyed our short stay in Harper's Ferry, and Tony's place was perfect. A charming old home near the Shenandoah, we really enjoyed the character of the home itself. Getting to town was a beautiful short walk up a section of the Appalachian Trail. Overall, a wonderful stay, and we look forward to another opportunity in the future to stay here!

We had a truly wonderful stay at this beautiful home in Harpers Ferry! The house was immaculately clean, thoughtfully furnished, and incredibly cozy—offering a perfect balance of comfort and charm. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, and the living areas were ideal for relaxing after a day of exploring. Our host was exceptional—responsive, welcoming, and attentive to every detail. Check-in was smooth, and we appreciated the helpful local recommendations provided. If you want to be in the middle of busyness and noise this is not the place but if you want total peace and rest, look no further. The drive to the home is up a long country mountain road and the reward is this amazing cabin that sits beautiful on top of the mountain at the end of the road. Unblocked views for miles from the front porch and amazing hot tub. Grab your groceries before arriving cause once you arrive you will not want to leave. Rest, refreshment and rejuvenate are the 3 R’s when it comes to this place. The hosts communicate so effectively before arrival and everything is in great condition so there were not needs to communicate during our stay. However before arrival they were always responsive and helpful. Loved our time here and if you’re looking for the 3 R’s, I’m sure you will love it too!

We loved our stay at C & O abode. It was exactly as described and as the pictures showed. The house is beautiful with amazing amenities such as heated floors, room darkening shades, sound machines in every room and toys and books in the kids room. We enjoyed the peaceful setting and beautiful decor. Jen was very responsive and even sent a long list of recommendations for things to do! The kids loved the crystal grotto caverns and the arial adventure park. Also highly recommend Harper’s ferry brewing for locals beers and delicious pretzels! We look forward to staying here again in the future.

This was my second stay at Rob’s cabin and it won’t be the last! It’s truly a special space in a such a magical setting. And Rob couldn’t have been a better, more attentive host. Book this gem now! I guarantee you won’t regret it!
