The Bunk House

The Bunk House is an 8 by 12 foot shed with 3-4 bunks. There is a twin sized bed across the back, a bunk sized bed on each side and a plank to pull out to accommodate a fourth person in the middle over the walkway. With this adaptation, you have an 8 by 10 foot bed. We provide foam mattresses, sheets, blankets and pillows. There is an air-conditioner and a heater. Bucket toilet behind the bunkhouse. Fire ring available. No pets. The water is from our deep well - tested, certified and delicious!

Charming 3 Bedroom Cottage in the Countryside

Our house is the perfect getaway for a family, group of friends or a couple. The lake and gardens around the house provide the quiet and peace of a retreat place, away from the busyness and distractions of the city. It's a very pretty drive to Columbia, MO (about 30 minutes), and 20 minutes to Rocheport, a very cute historical town by the Missouri River. A beautiful attraction that is close to our property is the Warm Springs Ranch. The Clydesdale breeding farm. This is a great place to visit.

We had an awesome stay at Rolling Oaks Retreat! Matt and his family have truly created a fantastic getaway. The property offers so much space, both for couples and larger groups. Highlights include the roomy loft, the vast patio and deck areas, the vast property, and the peaceful lake just behind the house.

Super cozy and beautiful place! Rose's Place was very easy to find and getting in was incredibly simple... you get to choose your own code to enter the house making it even easier for you. The house is obviously newly renovated. It is beautifully decorated, comfortably furnished and equipped with new appliances. All 3 bedrooms were comfortable and had cellular blinds, ceiling fans and roku tvs. The owner is also incredibly thoughtful by having travel shampoos, conditioner, makeup wipes, etc available in the bathrooms and to-go snacks in the kitchen and bottled water in the fridge. All of these were very helpful for our 2 day stay. Communication with Keith was good! He doesn't immediately respond (which is fine by me!) but responds within a decent time. I asked for food recommendations and he gave me a really good variety to choose from. Checkout was super simple as well. He asks you to do the very basic common courtesies, making check out much less stressful! Would happily stay again!

We enjoyed our stay during a quick overnight while traveling through. Super close to the interstate, private and secure location. We parked in the driveway - it is tight but we managed just fine with a full size SUV. The place was super clean, bed was comfy and we slept great! Will definitely stay again next time we are in the area.

We really enjoyed our stay. It rained while we were here but it was still amazing. My favorite part of the weekend would have to be sitting under the covered area with a cup of hot tea, my book and just listening to the rain. There were all kinds of wildlife from birds and squirrels to the occasional deer and even a tree frog! I would highly recommend this place to those looking to get off the beaten path and relax. Also, the outdoor shower is so enjoyable!
